Have yet to receive my Silver Surfer issue 4 after paying this lady upfront to have it pressed and graded. Tons of lies and excuses. Should have known better. After sending it off too, can remember owner's daughter even talking about how CBCS will verify anything as far as signatures. Even said she had tested it out by forging signatures on some books they verified as the actual artist. They are a criminal enterprise that continue to profit off stolen goods. Last I heard they were selling on Whatnot as ATComic. And what do i see when i go to check out their sales? My book that they never pressed or bothered to send off for grading. These people are the scum of the earth. Dont give them any business ever.

I really like this place, although, there really aren't any other options up here that I have seen. I find the staff quite friendly and accommodating. One of the first few visits, there was a technical issue that otherwise would have ruined my day, but we were able to work around it and display honesty/trust/consideration on both the owner and my end. That immediately garners my loyalty and some stars, for sure. Customer service is key.

They have a great selection of comics and MTG and even toys. I go there for paints and miniatures, which is hit or miss as is anywhere else that sells these types of things. I sometimes see people playing card games, but not very often. I wish I did. Would be nice to make some new fellow geek friends!

Only reason I give this 4/5 and not 5/5 is the operating hours. It seems a quite a bit difficult to get here when they are open if you have a busy schedule like I do.

The store has a great amount of comics and magic cards. The store looked kinda disorganized and dirty. I have the feeling they just got a new shipment which might be the reason it was messy. The only two things I would recommend are Yu-Gi-Oh cards should be stocked more often and a daily sweep could do some good. They had a lot of magic if your into that for great prices. If you don’t want to go there for Yu-Gi-Oh and only magic or comics or even dies or action figures and paint it is a great place.

I did like that they helped us with comic books on Free comic book Day for my kids with medical needs I do really appreciate that. The reason for the three stars instead of the five is that the cashier didn't seem like she wanted to be there and then when I wanted to share the story about my kids in the medical needs it seemed like she wasn't really engaged in any way the place has great product has good prices it's just the cashier kind of didn't do it for me or my kids they kind of felt like they were out of place there

Still waiting on my Silver Surfer issue 4,Savage She Hulk issue 1,as well as a San Diego con Venom 3 that were supposedly sent off well over a year ago to be graded. Multiple inquiries with very dodgy communication and little interest in explaining or attempting to make this right which is a shame because I used to drop quite a bit of money in that place.Most recent excuses were that books were being pressed or family member sick. I would advise getting your receipts and tracking numbers if you do business here or your stuff might get stolen/sold out from under you to make rent or pay utilities or buy food for the kids. Very disappointing that it's ended up this way.

There were boxes everywhere. The gaming selection is extremely limited, and they were almost completely out of miniature paints. The racks were there, but they were almost empty. The comic selection was decent, but it was hard to find what I was looking for, because most of the comics were just in seemingly random stacks on the tables. Even the ones on the shelf had stacks covering other stacks, so you had to dig to see what was there. Desperately in need of organization.

I had a 5 star experience here! Good selection and best customer service from any comic book store in CA! I've been to a number of them and anything comparable is far away. Kudos Geekdom hope you stay open here a long time.

I love this place!!! Want someone who knows about comics this is the place to go, she has a good selection and if she doesn't have it ask! She does her best to get it for you! Never had a problem with clutter or tripping hazards, my kids love going there!
