I have sold a few items to Mr. Vanderlei, I so appreciate his honesty. I brought a few turquoise necklaces in, along with a special Audrey Hepburn wall deco I had. An he was right to the point. I prefer that. Instead of getting mins of babble. I recommend if anybody has some vintage valuables, take em to see Chris, and definitely take a stroll thru his store. He has an interesting art collection.

I love love love this store! I come here every time I’m visiting Bakersfield. I’ve found some of my most treasured objects here including a Victorian era beaded room divider that hangs in a giant window in my kitchen as a gorgeous “frame”. I also found several bells including a Solari style bell. I’ve been to antique stores all over the world and this rates as one of my top 5 for unique and beautiful things. The owner’s eye is exquisite.
