I was in the neighborhood and wanted to grab the issue of sonic idw that came out today and didn’t know what to expect. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and one of the employees even directed me to the cats! Sometimes nerdy spaces can be a tad hostile towards lgbt looking folks so I was relieved when one of the employees hit me up about queer comics and anime after seeing a keychain on my lanyard as well. Having a variety of staff is important! There’s also a huge selection of comics with a lot of back issues. The prices are reasonable and they have a little punch card for free stuff with every 10th purchase! If it wasn’t an hour from my place I’d go often!

Great, big selection for single issue and trade paperback. You can tell whoever owns this place really loves comics! Staff is both helpful and knowledgeable. Whether you're on the hunt for a certain comic or just want to stop in and pick up something new, you're in good hands.

The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. They have all the new comics there as well as a good collection of back issues.

One note, the shelves are ordered by character, not title, so Amazing Spiderman is not in (A), but bundled with the other Spider-Man titles (S).

Galaxy of Comics is a cool comic books, toys, manga, Funko Pops, and everything pop culture one-stop shop in Van Nuys, California!

The staff are very welcoming and definitely treat their customer as VIPs. From browsing the store (where they will assist you with their superb pop culture knowledge), playing their cool coin-op arcade games, and giving excellent deals with their wide array of comic books.

The best part of the store is their Comic Book Back Issue shelf, wonderfully arranged alphabetically where you can easily navigate thousands of comic books with ease (make sure to pull the drawers, the fun of navigating still expands within it!).

Overall Galaxy if Comics is a highly recommended Comic Book Store to Shop! Visit, Shop, and See For Yourself! Enjoy Shopping!

A really comfy comic book store in the valley with pretty solid prices! The cashier is really knowledgeable about her stuff and eager to talk about the stock, so don't feel hesitant to be curious or share your passion! If you're in the valley, it's a definite landmark store, plus they got some adorable live in cats!

The young woman that works here KNOWS HER STUFF!!! There's nothing like asking a question and getting ALL of the answers! This place is organized and kid friendly. Be sure to say hi to their resident cats too!

Amazing shop! If you have allergies to cats make sure to check since there are cats! Overall the girl who helped me she was so nice and the cats were amazing and cute! The girl did help me feel less nervous inside the shop I plan to return for sure! Amazing customer service, amazing cats, amazing everything!
