Prices were just a little high but nothing to get upset about. One of the ladies there was not very personable and treated me like I was a hinderance for buying items while she was sitting on a chair at the register. Went back again and a different employee checked me out, super nice and even gave me a free item when they're promo items ran out.

Just luck of the draw who attends you but I'll still come back at some point

Chaos' owners are great. They are very knowledgeable of games and care about the players and games. They host regular card game, miniature, and RPG events. On top of that, they have one of the best communities around.

Playing space, dice, and mini selections. They also have neat higher quality dice that are definitely worth it if you're looking for a new set.

Update: Went back to give them another shot, only to learn the woman who works behind the counter is extremely homophobic. This store has only given negative experiences. There are plenty of better card shops in the area who are friendly, passionate, and care about you and your business.

Firstly, when I first arrived in this town, I went to Chaos to see if they could support a group I would bring (having enough space with chairs and such) and they said they could easily accommodate everyone. When we arrived, the place was extremelly cramped with simply not enough chairs or space, and the space that there was was shoulder to shoulder. This felt very disengenious and seemed to just be a way to get us in the store.

Secondly. Recently I was interested in buying some new products, so I asked when the products would release. They gave me the date they would be in stock and told me to come back then. When I returned. I was told they were sold out due to preorders. I was never given the option to preorder so I wasnt aware that was a possibility. When I brought this up, they said they would hold back some of the next shipment for me so I could get first pick since I didnt know I could have preordered. When I went back, I made sure to get there early as to not hold up the product. I was told they were sold out due to preorders again. I assume they forgot what they had told me, however it is very unprofessional to not give the buying options when I am very clearly interested in giving business and purchasing product. As well as making promises and giving me dates to return just to be told the same thing. Communication between business and customer at Chaos is extremelly weak and haphazard. It also feels that they will say whatever you want to hear to get you into the store.

Lastly, when you are in the store. They dont seem to care to help you unless you activelly seek out an employee. There have been times where I will walk in, say hello, and stand at the counter clearly wanting to purchase something. The owners will look at me directly, and continue their conversation with whomever they are talking to without moving to the front counter. When I finally say that im needing some help, they will take alot of their time actually getting to the counter, as if they really dont care whether you are buying something or not.

Honestly their have been many game shops Ive been to where the staff openly wants to help you and make a good impression. But this store feels like just another shop that doesnt have anyone who cares that you are there. It feels like a closed group of people having a place to hang out rather than a place of business. Needless to say I will not be returning. And I suggest anyone thinking of checking out this shop to pay attention to how they present themselves and how they treat you.
