This is a good shop. They heavily focus MTG but they still have good options for PK cards. Very little One Piece selection. They also host gaming and have a figurine selection which is awesome. The staff could be a little more welcoming however, and it seems that the website inventory is rarely updated.

Me and a friend from out of town stumble into this shop. The guys there were very welcoming and tge store was bigger than what I anticipated. They have different events on different nights. Nice hidden gem in Sam Marcos. Would recomend to stop by and check out the shop.

Forget about all other trading card store games Alphastrike is the store to shop at competitive prices with tcg player with the advantage of local pick up or delivery you name it they probably have it staff is always friendly and the store has a great environment look no further for tcg and collectible needs locally

Dope spot and friendly staff, was very impressed with the selection and the knowledge of the staff. I'm honestly surprised a shop of this quality is in San Marcos and I didn't have to drive to ATX or SA to get what I wanted. Definitely will be back!

They very likely have the cards i need but the staff is so rude I'd rather pay double online. I came in trying to build a pokemon deck and the unenthusiastic guy behind the counter grumbled "its all online" . Bro if i want to shop online I'll pay ebay prices i came into a local shop for a reason, I wanted to buy pick and experience. You didn't even want to hear what cards I'm looking for. Piss poor and disappointing. EDIT: Thanks for the nothing burger of a reply, i understand i cant thumb through your entire collection, but youre rude and unintersted in me spending money so why should i go out of my way to give it to you? a simple "oh what cards are you looking for?"

Always smells like multiple dead animals. Employees seem to have no one in their lives who truly loves them, and boy do they talk to you like it. Any small talk made waiting for checkout, like say “man I’ve heard shadow of the colossus is one of the best ps2 games haha”, is met with an honestly impressively quick and mean spirited response. And god forbid you have, A QUESTION!!!!! Excellent place to steal from.

EDIT: lol just saw the owner reply, you know the smell is vile look at how every single persons nose turns up when they walk in. Have better comebacks then “uhhhh no it’s actually you that smell”. Too be fair no one working there seems to do anything with high effort so I’m not suprised

Great place to get MTG cards both singles and sealed. Decent board game selection too.

Player base is too try hard for my tastes though. I prefer more casual play.
