I was in the area for breakfast and came across this store. It is a really cool toy store with a heavy focus on technology which I really really like. Plus I found an old school packaged Matchbox car. It looks like they change their packaging to be more environmentally friendly, which is also the way they used to be back in the day. The selection that they had for different types of toys related to STEM was really awesome. Forget Amazon, come get your gifts here.

Large selection of high quality, educational and pure fun toys and games for all ages. Classic toys along with latest from well known brands. Some sports equipment (e.g. bike helmets) but not really a sporting goods store.

My favorite San Diego toy shop to check out toys for my kids . This store is in the via de la valle center . They have a nice play area set up outside which is a major hit with young kids .
