Wanted to support their decision to close by stopping and purchasing a few Christmas presents for my kiddos and my niece and nephew. My 3 year old was pulling a boxed plastic truck/dump truck towards himself on the shelf (all under my and my husband's watchful eyes - as there are signs everywhere that says children not to be unsupervised), and the owner (?) started berating him to not pull it down, that he'll drop it - he immediately left it alone and backed away from her and the toy. Ma'am, he was more than capable of picking up a toy and not dropping it. He was pulling it closer to his reach. And had he dropped it and broke it, we would have gladly paid. I was planning on spending more to support them, but I let my daughter pick one thing since she already had two things picked out and strongly urged her to go with the cheap, plastic ring (though I didn't want to give them a penny!) This is not a toy store where children are made to feel welcome. Another example: I started playing with a magnetic drawing screen on display when we walked in. One of the workers immediately started telling me how to clear the screen and that it was a top seller. When my 8 year old daughter approached the counter to look at (cheap) plastic jewelry, the lady just stood there. They have such a big chance to brighten children's days! You don't get this here. At least we did not.

Worst toy store ever. There used to be an older man there who was strict, but he at least enjoyed talking to the kids. The women there now are horrible! It is so uncomfortable being there. They treat everyone like a criminal and yell at kids often. Also, the toys are way overpriced. The same toys can be found at Wal-Mart, Amazon, Target, or from different websites for a fraction of the cost. Granted, I would rather support local, but these women make the store such a horrible experience that there is absolutely no joy in spending more money there. I have been in some amazing toy stores. This is not one of them.

So thankful for this store and the nostalgia it brings! I was shocked at its amazing selection of different toys, books, and educational items. The staff were so kind to us and our toddler. We can’t wait to go back again, soon! Definitely a “must visit spot,”in Hot Springs for the entire family!

Nice store but the people working there need to find a new business to work because apparently they hate kids. Had one employee actually yell at my daughter for bouncing a moon ball. I get it, you don't want merch ruined but it was a freaking 50 cent ball that's made to be bounced. We were going to spend a decent amount of money there but after that we put everything back and left.

DID NOT FEEL WELCOME!!! It’s a toy store..your child will most likely pick up a ball and bounce it. The store CLERK MADE MY SON CRY!! Will NOT GET MY BUSINESS NOR DO I RECOMMEND!!

This isn’t a toy store you want to take your children into.
My husband promised a trip inside for my well behaved 2yo. She tripped while holding an animal puppet and the Owner(?) made a comment about not wanting to get the toy dirty. The toy was just fine. Another comment was made about moving another toy my daughter started playing with saying they needed to move it or it wouldn’t make it out of the store. Really She wasn’t breaking it and if she had we would’ve bought it. My husband had picked up a toy to buy but after those comments we left it behind.
There’s plenty of rude and disrespectful customers in the world, we aren’t those people so the passive aggressive comments should’ve been saved for someone else.

AWFUL customer service. The woman working there yesterday (not sure if she’s the owner or not) was hovering over us the entire time getting on to my 4 year old for touching ANYTHING. Ma’am, you do not belong in a TOY store.

Well stocked and a large selection! The employees were very hovering and watching to make sure we didn't steal or ruin anything which was really uncomfortable. The prices are also extraordinarily pricey.
