Yanapuma is such a beautiful experience😍 So many unique, special things- jewelry, home, art, and books...the books alone are an afternoon of browsing and shopping. Staff and owner are super welcoming and have so much to share about the origins and stories behind the unique items for sale. The owner/ buyer knows many of the artisans and each piece has a unique story. There were too many amazing things to get in one photo- it is just a lovely experience whether window shopping and learning about places and people around the world, finding a perfect gift, or treating yourself! Looking forward to returning to talk story and buy one of the gorgeous purses I can’t stop thinking about. A must stop store in Topanga!

EXQUISITE... I've spent a great deal of time engaging with the owner, staff and many of the artists carried in both the showroom as well as their online experience. I guarantee you will feel inspired and creatively juiced up after perusing the vast assortment of unique items they curate. Each piece carries a story and I loved learning about the people and places of origin.

I simply love this shop! It has items you would never see anywhere else, unless you traveled the southern hemisphere searching through the small villages. And I so appreciate the mission of Yanapuma, supporting the indigenous artisans, so their sacred art does not die out, and they can make a livelihood doing their craft. I came in recently as I live nearby and had always wanted to stop by this place. I have a deep love for various healing modalities and have spent years working with intuitive guides such as crystals, tarot, healing elixirs, runes, herbs, as well as alternative medicine. I gave 2 stars- one for the selection of items (the tinctures were similar to those that I use for ritual, however the crystals I saw were mediocre) and one for the girl at the register who was fairly social and friendly. However, the energy here is off, and that is important when you’re entrusting your own energy into the items you buy. The source is integral with respect to spiritual items. I had such a nice time innocently browsing by myself, but I kept being thrown off by the owner who came in from the back. I had questions about certain products but was repeatedly given a condescending response (mainly silence with a “you’re bothering me” expression). At first I thought it was me overthinking, but after the first 2 hints, I started to trust my intuition. Uncomfortable, I left soon after, and I really would’ve purchased something had I not had such a negative experience. It’s a shame that a store representative of spiritual healing and alignment did not in fact embody that. I came in excited to discover and connect with people (especially women) who were interested in the same things I was, and left knowing that I simply connect with myself.
