Whip It RC in Reno is hands-down the best place for RC enthusiasts! I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s always a great experience. The staff is super friendly, knows their stuff, and they’re always willing to help out—whether it’s finding the perfect RC car, tracking down parts, or giving advice on how to fix or upgrade your ride.

Their selection is awesome, with something for everyone, no matter if you’re a total newbie or a hardcore racer. Ultra kid friendly also! But what really makes this place stand out is the customer service. They’ve helped me and my son so many times, and they always go the extra mile to make sure we’re taken care of.

The new owners have totally stepped it up too. They’ve put a ton of effort into upgrading the shop and the track, and it shows. The race track is incredible—easily one of the best in the country. Track maintenance is excellent and track edits are frequent. Between the weekly club races and the many trophy events, there’s always something fun and exciting going on.

The loyal club members are also great! Everyone is so helpful, whether it’s giving tips to set up your car for the track or even sharing spare parts if you’re in a pinch. It’s more than just a shop—it’s a community of people who love RC as much as you do.

If you’re into RC and anywhere near Reno, you’ve got to check out Whip It RC. Highly recommend!

These people are so friendly to my kids who poke in interested about these fancy RC cars. Such a supportive and friendly place and the track is so cool! We like to attend the races and just watch! My son likes to rent a car for an hour.

Go to shop since I live around the corner, often don't have the part I need only because I don't have Traxxas shit. Reasonable prices, the staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Now I gotta build an R/c to race around the indoor track

Absolutely AMAZING place! The guys here are great. My first time in here since getting back into the RC Hobby. Had everything I needed for my Axial Rigs. They sell everything. Even specialty items you think you can only get online. Tons of parts, motors, escs, BEC, From Traxxas, Axial, Losi and more. Plus they have a drift course and huge race track. I highly recommend stopping in if you need anything. They can also order stuff. I believe I dealt with Sean. Fantastic guy. Thank you, Whip It. My drive from Carson City was well worth the drive!

Really cool facility for the hobby minded RC enthusiast. They have quite the elaborate track and nice guys to answer your crazy questions. Unfortunately, they didn't have old school antennas. Interior was really clean, kids having fun on their indoor track. Keep up the great work!

Love WhipIt RC! Purchased a Traxxas 4x4 ultimate from here. Their track is a perfect place to practice and have fun. I have been loving the truck. Many upgrades to come. Thanks WhipIt, amazing place to get into anything RC.
