I always make sure to come here before I head on to the mountains. It’s been a tradition I buy a leather bracelet every time I come so I can see it on me as I swim in the river for days to come. Whenever I wear it back home, it brings back all the good memories of being at the river where I feel is like my second home. The lady here remembers me and she is always so nice. The first year we came she was super helpful and gave us a deal because we did not come prepared and instead of buying at the store before the campsites we bought a lot of things from her. I always look forward to visiting this shop ❤️

The lady is very nice.
Perfectly located across from the park and the river, they sell all sorts of tubes and have an air pump to fill them up.
They also have:
an assortment of portable air pumps,
water shoes in many styles and sizes,
cheap foam water blasters you will need for any proper water play,
frozen treats,
a small fridge with sodas,
a small variety of cheap plastic toys the likes of which you might find in a grocery store
and
$1 minimalist bumperstickers that fit my personal aesthetic.

They have a variety of things from water shoes , water toys , sulveniers and much more. The lady was so friendly and made us feel welcome. We bought the nachos and cold drinks , the nachos were so good and at a reasonable price . We will come back here for sure next time .

This is the place to add air to your raft or flotation device to go down the Kern River right across the street at the park.....Joy who helped me was very helpful.She has a great personality as well and she put air in my raft, wished me luck and I barely survived to tell this story...but it was super fun and no regrets.We are coming back and I'll be visiting Whatever for my Kern River needs!
