Truly surprised with how nice this place is - it far exceeded all my expectations and I thank the lovely staff for such a fantastic stay. Beds were comfy, room clean and well appointed, easy access, gorgeous grounds with the creek and excellent amenities with the hot tub, pool, and myriad of fireplaces. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I can remember. Thank you!

Great hotel in Bishop with beautiful natural features and nice lobby bar. We stayed there to be close to Mammoth and enjoyed the best (real food!) American buffet breakfast I've seen before heading to the mountain. The rooms are comfortable with easy access to the parking lot for loading/unloading.

Hotel is on the Main Street of Bishop, the staff were very polite and efficient. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was wonderful with lots of water pressure. Our room came with breakfast which was nice, there was plenty of choices and it was pretty good. Close by the hotel is Erick Schat's Bakery which I’ve been told is a not to be missed. Sadly I didn’t know this until after we headed for home.

Beautiful but be careful… questionable staff and practice… front desk person refused to check us in with an online reservation because he quoted a high walk-in rate, and we asked for him to match their own online rate… normally the hotel would just say - “go ahead make the booking online” and check us in. This hotel guy didn’t take a “chance”, he claimed they don’t take guest that compare prices, and since he already quoted, that considered a reservation, and if I don’t take his rate, he wouldn’t check us in even if booking online… I asked to speak to a manager, he said she’s not available… I went elsewhere paid 30% less and slept amazing with included breakfast (this one didn’t offer).

The best hotel in the Mammoth/Bishop area. Also, a short walk away from Erick Schaat's Bakery!

The best part is the little creek at the back of the hotel and the numerous firepits. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were well soundproofed.

Staff was very friendly. They have a washer and dryer too if ever you need to do your laundry. You can buy some tide pods at the front desk. There was free breakfast too which was not bad. It's your usual continental breakfast, same with other hotels.

Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely book here again if ever we're in the area.

Great lodge in bishop. Possibly the only stay left that is a good deal in all of Mammoth/Bishop/Lone Pine. Rooms are cozy and very clean, showers are updated, lodge vibe at check in is so welcoming! 10/10 would stay again

This is THE place in Bishop to stay. I enjoyed my 3 night stay here very much. I spent every day running around hiking and touring the beautiful Sierra and White ranges. After lots of chain hotels, I found this hotel decor unique and inviting. My room had wonderful comfortable chairs to relax in and a huge comfortable bed. I had a fridge, a Keurig, a nice bathroom/shower area. The climate control was great. I had a little balcony that was nice at night overlooking the cute creek.

The room was very clean and professionally cleaned every day. Breakfast was very nice. The menu didn't change, but I am a big fan of sausage gravy on biscuits, so I was happy every morning.

The staff behind the desk were all very nice and friendly. Breakfast staff was also very nice. I am so happy I picked this place to base my adventures from. I had originally thought to stay in Mammoth, but I am so happy I chose Bishop and this property.

Being the best hotel in town, we were not disappointed. The deluxe room was very spacious and comfortable, with a private balcony overlooking the lovely garden and stream. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. The only negative was the included breakfast, which was the typical reconstituted scrambled eggs, bulk hash browns and sausage patties, etc. But we planned for this, and enjoyed our own breakfast of yogurt, granola, fruits, and coffee on our balcony.

Overall, we will definitely stay here again, when visiting to enjoy the amazing nearby Bristlecone Pine trees, and wonderful fall foliage around the lakes to the west.
