I came here back in December 2023 and have to say, this is one hell of a retro game store! The staff is very friendly and they even sell vinyl records. They sell of the cartridges and put them in clamshell cases of the games.

I highly recommend this store!

Its simple this is literally the best game stores in the state. From the friendly employees to the huge selection of games for almost every system ever made. I will always go out of my way to support this place. Prices are beyond fair and everything I've bought from here just works thanks everyone for keepin the dream alive!

I was really excited to participate in my second Pokémon event at this LGS, especially after having a great time at my first one with my family. Unfortunately, my wife and son caught a stomach bug the night prior to the event, and I started feeling sick too the following afternoon. I did the responsible thing by calling ahead to cancel, expecting at least some flexibility, but was met with nothing but rigid policies and a lack of customer care.

I asked for several reasonable accommodations:

A refund for the ticket which was denied.

They recommended transferring my spot to someone else for in-store credit if it worked but I’m new to the community so I don’t know anyone else.

I suggested attending while wearing a mask. I was told I would be denied entry.

As a last resort I requested that if no one bought my ticket, would they break the seals on my deck and packs so I can pick up when I’m feeling better — also denied

The final outcome? Either someone buys my ticket (which I have no way of verifying) or I lose my $30, while the store likely resells the deck at a marked-up price. Their refusal to work with customers in good faith makes it clear that they prioritize their own profits over community engagement.

Sadly, this experience reinforced the negative reputation that some LGSs have for being greedy. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and recommending others do the same. Avoid this store if you value fairness and customer service.

Update: The owner reached out to me to resolve the discrepancy. They honored the sticker prices and refunded the difference within 24 hours. Thank you for making this right. I have updated my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. I have left my original review below for transparency.

This place has a really cool vibe with an awesome selection of retro games. I found a few of the games here on GameCube that I grew up with.

Here’s what left a sour taste in my mouth and will probably prevent me from returning: the total I was charged did not match the price stickers on the games. My total was about 30% higher than I expected, based on the stickers. When I asked about the discrepancy, I got a response of indifference that the prices change and had changed recently for two of the games I bought. No apology about the inconvenience or discrepancy was given.

I understand that this is a small business that carries a lot of inventory whose prices probably change regularly. So, the inaccuracy of the price sticker on a few games is understandable. That said, the discrepancy should have been brought to my attention during checkout and before accepting payment. “The price on this game is actually $new price and not $listed price. Is that okay?” would have sufficed.

If you visit this shop, I hope you enjoy its cool vibes AND confirm the prices of the games you are buying at checkout.

I live in Ohio, and saw an item that i had been trying to find listed for a very reasonable price on their website, which I had somehow stumbled across. The price was far more reasonable than the vast majority of other listings that I had seen for the same item. I called to confirm that they had it in stock and to ask if they could ship it to Ohio. The person that i spoke to on the phone was very helpful and took the time to verify their stock and answer my questions. They then shipped my item very quickly, and i received it just a few days later. Great experience, very helpful, very fast. Highly recommend!

Re edit: when I called the store manager he told me that they noticed I was offended when referrring to scalpers. The store manager claimed he already knew all insights because he already watched the video and didn’t seem to understand my side of the story. The business protecting the employee actions rather than admitting to making a mistake. The explanation was product is protected for first few days. The product I was attempting to purchase was a year old.

Was denied a single build and battle pack of Pokémon cards because I wouldn’t provide my phone number while purchasing. She explained they are trying to eliminate scalping. I explained I only wanted to open the product but in the end I walked out. Not happy with customer service

Store doesn't provide an item list when you bring games to sell. They only want to offer you a bulk price( red flag)
Tried to see what i could get for my rare soul silver game and they said 40 dollars in cash lol (its worth 3 times that online).
