Terrific pastries and rich chai lattes! I came here after walking past many times and boy was I happily surprised. The vibe here is very much social with the outdoor space being a bit more relaxed. The staff is very kind and attentive. The drinks and food are averagely priced, but the quality is absolutely great. Definitely plan to visit this shop again!

Very nice place to sit and study/talk over coffee. Good natural light and good music. Didn’t try any coffee but based on the involuntary eavesdropping I did, it seems to be very good. There’s also very cute outdoor seating but is underneath some trees so seems like it could get dusty with falling leaves & whatnot. No complaints.

After I was using an available outlet to charge my laptop, an employee told me the outlet was "covered for a reason" despite it being open and available when I sat down. She proceeded to tell me customers were not allowed to use outlets and I would need to unplug my device if I wanted to stay.

While the atmosphere and design are enjoyable, the environment is not customer-friendly and it's clear the intentions of the cafe are not to foster community or welcoming workspaces.

The verve is great! Busy bustling coffee shop on any given day, there’s nice bar seating outside but it’s pretty sunny with little shade. I’ve been here a couple times now and the ambience, the vibe and energy is great. It’s a great place to meet up and catch up with friends or catch up on some work.
I had the iced matcha latte with oat milk, the iced chai latte, their lemon olive oil bread, the chia seed pudding, avocado toast, and their scone. The pastries do look amazing and fresh, I’m less of a scone person and thought it was dry but I feel like warmed up it would’ve tasted better. The lemon bread was really good and sweet though. The chia seed pudding was good but it was made ready to go in the fridge and felt expensive / overpriced for what it was, the avocado toast was pretty good too. The drinks were also good, not the best chai or matcha I’ve had but decent as a coffee shop!

Very pleasant staff. Opens at 7am which is nice. Coffee is very good. I just had a regular one (no additional fluff). Almond croissant and coffee cake were just “ok”. Not too fresh to be honest.

Exceptional espresso pulled from a custom Kees van der Westen double-Spirit machine. What more could you ask for? The espresso style is quite modern - fruity, high acid, but not sour. And they have a great selection of beans on offer too!

Hands down an absolutely incredible space with incredible coffee & pastries (food too I just did it get any).
