Gift cards are no longer honored. I had checked 2 days earlier if still valid and brought my kids first chance to find that on 4/22 they stopped accepting gift cards.

Best thing is give a gift with receipt or cash/check. Gift cards have always been impersonal and feel like a last minute gift with no thought.

We've been coming here with our kids for years. It's always fun. We enjoy strolling around the aisles and seeing cool toys with our kids. It's great being able to see what's new and getting a sense of what's good, what's bad and what's the latest thing. If I have any complaints it's the same as with all brick and mortar shops. While it's fun to pick up a toy or a gift on a lark it's often eye opening to scan a UPC code with the Amazon app and realize you're paying a lot more to buy it locally. For example we took my son here recently to let him look around and give us ideas for what he may want for his 9th birthday next week. He found a nerf gun which we scanned at the end cap in the store for $39.99. The same gun was $19.99 on Amazon. So yes, we could have gotten it then and there but to wait for 2 days and save 20 bucks by purchasing it online seemed wise. Unfortunately this is what eventually kills local businesses. It's a bit of a paradox and it's sad, really because there's something charming and nostalgic about walking the aisles and seeing all the toys.

Since they announced the going out of business sale, things fell apart, but then again, they weren't together at this location before that. Store was trashy, products scattered everywhere, no help from remaining employees, etc. Good place to go if you want to buy something you don't plan on returning.

Good collection of toys.. Yes. But that's what this store is for. The prices are reasonable though there are places to get them cheaper.

The biggest negative is the people who work there. They are not at all helpful and are a bit rude. Maybe they are overworked, but that's something for the management to look into.

Horrible customer service. Was not greated when we were checking out. Asked for a bag for all of the small items purchased along with a large box. The cashier told us that they didn't have bags, even though there was one bag left right next to her. When we pointed it out, she said "oh, you can use this one" and when I looked at the other checkout stands there were bags everywhere. She was just too lazy or high to restock her supply. Very disappointing.

Went here to pick up an online order. Was told it was canceled because the item was out or they couldn't find it on the shelf. But i could do check the isle and see if i can find it. I went to look for the toy and it was in a pile of similar toys on the floor. I can't believe how lazy the store clerks are and how messy the store was kept. Then i was approached by a jerk store clerk who said i needed to pick up the things on the floor. i said excuse me? All of this was on the floor and isn't it YOUR JOB to pick up the organize the store. Unbelievable experience! i will never shop here again. LAZY, RUDE, MESSY and DISRESPECTFUL workers.

Pros: Employees are nice and reasonable.
Cons:
I only go there because it's the only establishment in the area with a claw machine! Their claw machine is badly rigged that once it touches the toy it closes and the grip strength, what a joke! I'm moving out of this area; I don't see the point of going to a place of business that contain unfair machines.

Just wanted to say goodbye to an old friend. As a child my mother would wait while I aimlessly wandered aisles of floor to ceiling toyful delight. Most of my childhood was just browsing but thank goodness, in time things change. The dot com boom and the out flowing of Amazon and Ebay's toy river wavered my support but I appreciated things like extended Christmas hours, special events and exclusive toy offerings. There should always be room for a real, non-digital shopping experience. Thanks for all the toys and providing a showroom for childhood delights.
