Pretty good selection of items. They have just about anything you would need out of a sporting goods store. Very good gun selection. Good knife selection too. Prices are comparable to anything online. Very careful when going in to "look around" you just might not leave empty handed

Tom in the firearms section is knowledgeable and very nice. Was a pleasure talking to him as he helped me through the purchase of my pistol. He Helped me sort out mistakes that my county’s bureau had caused me. Rest of the staff is excellent too. Will gladly be back

I moved away from the area years ago but I always make a stop at this Thruway to take a lap and check out sporting goods, outdoor essentials, etc when I'm in the area visiting

Today I had a really good experience with one of the associates in the outdoor hiking boot section. Was looking for a conditioner/cleaner for 10 year old Merrills. Associate made sure I knew exactly what to get after examining the boot thoroughly. 10/10 for that guy. Will be back next year

I’ve seen this store grow so much over 20 years and it’s always been the best. They have EVERYTHING you could need. I’ve purchased a lot of “firsts” here and there’s great, knowledgeable staff who can help you with whatever you’re looking for. Shop local!!

Needed some boots. The gentleman that assisted me seemed pretty knowledgeable and took his time helping me select a pair. While I miss the Thruway sporting goods of thirty years ago, it's still a nice place to shop.

Order #1361. Ordered a pair of salomon hiking shoes from this company and had it delivered to a place of work. The business closed at 5pm but Thruway reports the package was delivered for 6pm. The next day I went to work to pick up the package but no package was to be found. I contacted Thruway to report the missing package but did not receive any help. Was told by the manager to file a claim through fed Ex. Claim was denied by Fed Ex due to not being the shipper. Contacted Thruway again and told them the situation. They said they will try to file a claim with Fed Ex. Waited over a month for a status but was told claim was denied. Now I am out of the money I spent and have zero hiking shoes. Do not recommend this company.

If it’s to be had in terms of outdoor equipment, there is a very good chance Thruway sporting goods will have it. Whether you like hunting, fishing, camping, or any number of other outdoor things, the selection at this place is incredible. Forget the big chain stores, shop local!
