I’ve stopped into this store multiple times over the past 4 years while visiting Carmel. Each time I politely ask the staff if they have an any police related toys.

The staff wanders around the store pretending they do and always ends up saying “sorry we must be all out.” The truth is this store has never had a single police officer toy. However, there’s dozens of toys related to firefighting, medical, construction, etc.

Also, you can’t turn in this store without bumping into a safe space flag or book on inclusion. I wonder how much the owners of this place donated to defund the police when it was cool to do so. I’m pretty sure however they’d phone up Carmel PD in a jiffy if someone stole from their store.

This place has an obvious agenda and it’s a rip off anyways. My suggestion would be to Amazon Prime it and pick up down the street at the Whole Foods.

2024: I love the inclusivity regarding both Pride Month and Black Lives Matter. It reassures me that Carmel isn't completely stuck in the 1950s.

Best stocking I've seen of Squishables in NorCal, and the rest of the store's pretty great too.

I come here every time I visit Carmel. This is one of the highlights for my kids. They could walk around this little shop and look at all the toys for a long time. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Well organized shelves. Good selection of all sorts of great quality toys and games!

I have been shopping in this store with 4 generations of my family. Staff is amazing and the store is full of wonderful things for a wide range of children. Puzzles and more for teens and up. Colorful, fun, and great location. We gave bracelets and necklaces to 4 year old friends of ours. They loved it! This store has been part of our village for decades and it is wonderful that they are still here for all of. Great window displays!

Super cute store with very friendly staff. Lots of diverse toys for babies (books, plushies, trinkets) up to adults (advanced toys, crafts, and 1000 puzzles). I also included a photo of the signs at their door, for those wondering about their COVID policies/updates as of 06/18/2021

What an absolute outrage. As a local resident of carmel for many years to see what has happened to this toy store is beyond tragic. With huge BLM flags and transgender and gay flags throughout the store and for sale inside, this" toy store" is going beyond mere indoctrination of children to the point of grooming. DO NOT take your children here to buy toys. Children are innocent and pure and deserve protection... This store is sick for promoting and selling these products to kids who don't know better. If you don't believe me, go look at their website, several pages filled with "resources and descriptions of this mature content." TOURISTS AND RESIDENTS BEWARE!

The store was nice . The staff not so much. And what's up with having a tip jar ? The tip jar might have been to leave notes for the employees on how to do a better job with customer service. There's no other reason for a tip jar .
