Werner was absolutely terrific He helped me (a near novice) pick out a fantastic instrument for a reasonable price. This is the kind of place I would very highly recommend, somewhere that specializes in string instruments with a proprietor who knows the craft and knows it well. Looking around, I saw they had options for everyone from beginners to experts, so that helped put another checkmark in the “trust” box. Great experience Kudos Peace and God bless ✅.

I'd searched for a beautiful cello that my youngest daughter could keep to practice on and found the perfect one here for her! It truly was a quaint little music shop with the owner having had years of experience when I went there--now 15 years ago! He'd even given me the names of some local people who could give her cello lessons beyond what her high school years had provided for her! I will never forget the look on her face when I gave it to her for her birthday! She was so moved by it, she couldn't speak! ❤️ Thank you to the Violin Shoppe for keeping her love for the cello alive!

I highly recommend renting your instrument from Werner. On top of incredible depth of knowledge in his field, we could ask for no better advocate for a musician. He has been fair and understanding with us and our 7-year-old daughter from the very first day we went to his shop, and over the years has helped us pick new instruments when our girl outgrew old ones - as well as patiently repairing all the oopses that sometimes come part and parcel to being a young violinist.

An incredibly kind, calm, and personable owner. The owner carefully explains everything in great detail and the price for us to rent an instrument was great. The rental also eventually applies to purchasing the instrument (viola). I highly recommend giving The Violin Shoppe a chance.

The violin that I bought there has a good tone, and the owner of the shoppe has expertise in the making and repair of violins. It is a great place to purchase a violin or have one's repaired!!

Werner is the best. He takes his time with the children making sure they are using the correct size instruments for them . We all leave here very happy. I will continue to come here for everything I need when it comes to string instruments
