The Rustic Red Door has closed, at least at this address but Google is slow to make the change. Dee's Attic is now open at this location selling very nice vintage and antiques. Will make the change on Google Maps as soon as they acknowledge this closure.

We popped in to take a quick peek, myself and my three young boys- and we were warmly welcomed! A place like this isnt for young kids, but! We went over the rules and did a quick walkthrough so my husband and and I could come back at a later date. The owner was super sweet and very kind to my boys, offering a sweet treat and complimenting their composed behavior. Very organized and quaint. Cannot wait to swing back in for some treasures when more time for browsing allows! Thank you for having us!

If you have children, don’t go. The lady at the counter does not like them and would not even acknowledge us when we walked in. We were there over the weekend and had a few things that we were going to purchase. My son, who is 11, picked up a fake book to look at it and she ran over and snatched it out of his hand yelling “don’t open that and quit touching things!” Well it was a decoration and did not open, so she doesn’t know her product. He is a well behaved child, so it’s not like he was running around and misbehaving. I was in there once before and the same thing, no hello or smile when we walked in. We went next door and the ladies at the counter were so friendly, talking to the children in the store and complemented their behavior.

Rustic Red Door is a great addition to Sandwich, IL shopping! Janie and Monica, Mother/Daughter owners are absolutely amazing! This boutique offers boutique finds, handmade items and many unique pieces! I would definitely recommend this as a must visit!

Kind of nice stuff, all new, not antique. The most disturbing thing was the lack of customer service. We walked in, were not greeted, the two sales people were talking loudly about their tax bills for the past few years. We walked through the entire store, were never acknowledged. When we left, no goodbye, nothing.

This place has everything weird and unique. Much of it seems to be handmade by local vendors. If you like odd stuff and stuff you cannot find anywhere else, this is your place. There is no way to describe it and do it justice.

Stop in, browse and leave with something awesome. It is in the middle of no where so it is a great spot to stop and stretch your legs.
