Huge store on a parking lot with great views. We picked up sandwiches which was delicious. The owners are still expanding and slowly adding new items.
The restroom is a portable one located in the parking lot.

You can’t miss this store when driving along the western shore of Tomales Bay. It boasts an impressive selection of imported snacks and candies from across Europe

The cashier literally insulted every person in line. The bathrooms for customers are a rarely cleaned porta potty across the parking lot. So bad it is almost surreal. I see photos of full shelves in other reviews, but did not see full shelves. Perhaps there is an annual re-stocking? If so, we missed it.

We stopped by the Inverness Store while exploring the local community of Inverness and the Point Reyes area. The store is conveniently situated right off Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, making it very easy to access on my drive through town and the layout of the store itself made browsing easy. As soon as I walked in, I was captivated by the old-fashioned, charming atmosphere of the place. Everything about the place exuded quaint charm and stepping inside felt like stepping back in time. We perused the shelves and found some ice cream for the road. The Inverness Store is an easy stop for treats or necessities in the area!

Was iffy about this store when we walked in. Definitely not was what we’re used to but we were hungry. Saw the deli and got some sandwiches. There’s no customer service, I think it’s a family business. They seemed grumpy but the sandwiches were good. $12.99 a sandwich.

This place was awesome. Anything that isn't 5-stars is selling it short. Delicious sandwich with super fresh, crisp veggies. A monstrous selection of craft sodas. It was old school and charming. Is it the greatest sandwich you'll ever eat? No. But it's a great spot in the middle of a beautiful nowhere. Load up on sammies and soda on your way to the beach.

My recent visit to this soda shop left me utterly dismayed and thoroughly disappointed. Let's start with the owner—a person whose rudeness and insensitivity towards patrons with service animals was appalling. A colleague of mine, who relies on a service dog, was repeatedly bothered by the owner's offhand remarks and blatant lack of understanding. It's disheartening to encounter such ignorance and disrespect towards individuals who depend on these animals for daily assistance.

Moving on to the soda itself—overpriced would be an understatement. The drinks were exorbitantly priced for what essentially amounted to a basic soda experience. One would expect more reasonable rates for something as commonplace as carbonated beverages.

The state of the parking lot was another sore point. Potholes aplenty and a gravel surface that seemed more suited to a construction site than a public establishment. It was not just inconvenient but frankly unsafe to navigate, especially for anyone with mobility issues.

As for the location, it was far from welcoming. The overall ambiance was lacking, with an air of neglect that extended from the parking lot to the interiors. It certainly wasn't a place worth stopping at, let alone revisiting.

In conclusion, my experience at this soda shop was marred by the owner's disrespectful behavior towards patrons with service dogs, the overpriced beverages, and the dismal state of the parking lot. Save yourself the trouble and seek refreshment elsewhere where both the service and surroundings are more deserving of your time and money.

I mean honestly the shipwreck in the backyard has more integrity than the owner of this shop and brilliantly symbolizes the integrity of the staff.

Absolutely disgusting, I’m encouraging my colleague to consider legal avenues for the mistreatment by the sick, disturbed owner of this sugar water store.

I’m likely going to be reporting this store to appropriate food safety authorities given the cleanliness of the establishment.

I love this store. They make great sandwiches and have a wonderful view of Tomales Bay. Nice quiet (main) road in a quaint cute town. The local wildlife likes to hang out by the Point Reyes wreck out back.
