I can't applaud these guys/this shop enough! I had a lefty Gretsch that needed some tricky repair work done, and Rich/Kevin went above and beyond to troubleshoot and locate the issue. Got it back good as new! I've found myself a new shop for any future servicing needs! Icing on the cake was the pricing rate for their service was beyond reasonable! This is a fantastic guitar store that’s been in business since 1969. The service and selection of acoustic and electric guitars, amps, and accessories are all excellent. I’ve purchased guitars here, had guitars serviced, and have attended concerts here. The latest concert I attended was with the great Peter Asher. What a memorable night! The sales people are musicians and they’ll help guide you with proper questions and information to make sure you make the right choices. When I wanted to purchase my Martin HD28, Rick helped me make the right choice. That was several years ago and the guitar just keeps sounding better and better.

Tight selection of gear, in every sense of the word. Good stuff, but not a whole lot of it, sadly. Staff is engaging and accommodating. I always stop by the Fret House when I'm in the area.

My son, a budding musician, was checking out different guitar shop in SoCal. Dropped by The Fret house and was greeted by the freindly staff as we entered the store. They were engaging and helpful. They guided him to the amp room and let him test out several guitars. Reminds me of a smaller version of Elderly Instruments back home in Lansing Michigan.

Buying a new guitar can be a daunting process. For someone like myself who has played for years but still feel like a novice, deciding on an upgrade from my first Yamaha was difficult. Richard from the Fret House was beyond patient and helpful from the moment I walked in. This man was incredibly knowledgeable about the monolith brands of Taylor and Martin, and gave me such detailed information about every guitar he brought me. He sat me down, and brought me guitar after guitar, narrowing down my preferences in a way I couldn't alone. I am incredibly grateful for his time, and for the chance to play all the beautiful guitars he showed me. It was an amazing experience, and I now have a local guitar shop to take my new Martin to for years to come. Thanks again Richard!

Went in to get my Larrivee set up due to a slight buzz. Kevin took the time to adjust the truss rod and that was all it needed. I decided to pick up an extra set of strings while I was there and added a $10 tip. Thanks for taking the time to repair my guitar on the spot, Kevin!!!

I love these types of shops. It smells like acoustic instruments when you walk in...with a wide variety of instruments on the walls and ceiling. They also did a great job on a set up for my Taylor-mini. Don't forget...they have concerts in their Basement....which are really fun.
