I highly recommend this shop! The selection of uniquely flavored salts is absolutely incredible. These salts add a special touch to any dish. David the owner, is wonderful, knowledgeable, passionate, and clearly dedicated to his craft. If you’re a food lover or looking for a unique gift, this place is a must-visit! I live in Florida, but I’m in Syracuse frequently to visit my family. I always stop by this shop to get salts and other products for myself (and family and friends). My personal favorite is the Black Garlic Flake Salt, but I’m looking forward to trying the new Mediterranean flavor. Five Stars All The Way!!!

Syracuse Salt Co. Is my go-to for salta in the area. Local run? Check. Family owned? Check. Best salts that Salt City can offer? Also check. The new Mediterranean Salt is SO good on red meat it's insane.

Had the pleasure of meeting David during my last visit to Syracuse. Came in to get some salts for my chef husband. David is like the salt whisperer.. if you have questions about salt, this is your guy. He helped me select several salts to bring back to Ft Lauderdale, and I learned some really interesting salt facts. This place is definitely a cool spot. Customer service is top notch, products are top notch. Thanks for your help David!

Great salt for cooking and the seasoned salts as garnish. Roasted and black garlic are stellar. Tomato-basil is wonderful as well.

We just tried Kennan’s Popcorn Seasoning for dinner last night on Roasted Pork Tenderloin and Rice. Yum! It may be my new favorite. Still love Tomato Basil salt on my salads. Keep up the great work SSC.

I just love love love their salts. I’ve been ordering it for threes years now I keep trying a new flavor. Each one is so different. My new flavor is Sriracha and the lemon one is awesome too. My family thinks I’m nuts but I just love it. I will never buy salt anywhere else again. Customer service are so sweet and kind ….they're like family. Great Salt that is made here in the Salt City, Syracuse. This father and daughter team has done something amazing by bringing the tradition of Salt making back to Syracuse. Not only that, but they make many flavored salts that will take your cooking to another level. Not to mention the Margaritas
So if you want to do something special for yourself or someone you care about, the Syracusr Salt Co is ready to help. You can find there Salt in many food and gift shops in the area or stop by and see them. Good people and good Salt!

Fabulous product, definitely high quality!!! Received a free sample with my wine shipment and immediately tried it. Made a small batch of peanut butter cookies and finished them with Salt City Flake(move over Maldon's!). As a good Syracuse boy who now lives outside of Philly, I miss many things from home (pizza and bread sucks here👎) and do try to get my hands on CNY/NY products (all my wine -SCOUT for one👊-, cheese, cider and Pasta's dipping oil even lots of my clothing..Wolex!!). If I can support CNY down here, so can YOU🫵.
