the staff is nice, but the photos are WRONG. there are literally only 4 RC cars in the entire hobby shop, and they're all used. the rest of the store is mostly clogged with random items and a few old trains, with four or five random new/used planes. I've been planning on going to this place for weeks and when payday finally came I came with around $500 to spend because I wanted to support my local hobby shop being that they are the only one left in Grass Valley. I was severely disappointed and saddened by the lack of inventory and apparently interest in our area. I arrived willing to buy almost any new car and left having bought nothing. I hope that the store owner decides to sell most of what is in the store and buy some new inventory in order to revamp his store and draw in more repeat customers. as it is, I have a difficult time seeing any reason why I would go back, other than hope that by giving them my business I can increase traffic to the store. I will be back because I love the hobby and I love small businesses and I don't want to have everything go to online or have the only hobby shop available be all the way in Auburn, I'm just hoping in the future they will have more things I can purchase.
I doubt the great staff will ever see this review but to everyone that does, consider giving them your business just so that hobby shops don't die in Grass Valley. Maybe it'll get better soon.

I ordered five small RC parts traxxas and losi. Back in late June, I now go to a main hobbies online. Mark kept telling me the same bullshit like it sounds like from another post. I'm still waiting. I like about Mark is he has the fuel in stock. In fact my two small items I'm going to get my money back and pick up a quart, and just don't go back. It's a shame he's doing this to his customers.

Great place for tarps, inexpensive tools & everything for all kinds of hobbies and so much more. They are my new old Radio Shack. Great prices! Been going there for years.

They are in Northern California and I am in Metro Detroit. I found them online and they helped me with a project I am working on. They have more types and thicknesses of superglue than you can shake a stick at, including speed setting spray. Very handy to glue up a broken ceramic plate that wouldn't set otherwise.

We were sent wrong product, supposed to get bandit vxl, sent a regular vx bandent with vxl speed control and motor only, we also received the wrong remote, we received the tq remote instead of tqi remote. Car has no bearings, wrong hubs, no stability control. When I called customer service they were rude and said we can ship it back. We have to pay of course! We were ripped off... Instead of offering to send correct remote just rude, we asked if they could he said nothey don't have any. It has the cheaper shocks, plastic turn buckles. We paid for the more expensive one to turn into no prep drag car and got the cheaper version. We would like correct item or our money back. But apparently that's not happening... Rude!
