We emailed Susan so we could go on a Tuesday. It was super easy and she was lovely and knowledgeable about the history of the food. We had the museum to ourselves and were shocked how many rooms there were. Several of the dolls sparked really good conversations with my children.

Wow, this place has so many more dolls than you expect. They are grouped by themes. The owner was available for questions, and she was able to answer even quite specific questions. We were able to help her out too. We recognized a couple of puppets, who were made by my wife's grandmother, Pamelia McIntire. She didn't know the name, but knew she was from San Diego.

It is the most fabulous and amazing doll & bear museum! The vast extent of the collection and the variety was beyond belief. We are toy collectors and have visited other toy museums, but this one was the best! So thoughtfully displayed and fascinating! Susan was such a wonderful guide and engaging. My wife wanted to move in and live among the dolls and bears. A truly wonderful experience!

Really cool museum! We were greeted by Susan herself at the front; there are literally thousands of dolls and teddy bears from all over the world, as well as toys of every kind. Great way to relive your inner child and definitely one of a kind!

Highly recommend, even over attractions like the Presidio

It is absolutely vital that you reserve your tickets online, especially if your visit is on a weekend. I came on January 2 at 11:30 and the line was wrapped around the building. My sister had come at 10, right when the museum opens, and she also mentioned that the line wrapped around the building.
