Very nice experience! we were in the area for a wedding and this was one of the hotels recommended for the guests.. The Starlite delivered as represented in their photos and website. The bonus was that Alex, the manager made a huge effort to make us feel welcome. She sent us recommendations for restaurants and was very responsive to texts when we had a few questions. They provided yummy muffins and doughnuts, but I am gluten free. She went to Kingston and brought back GF muffins and scones. Very kind of her to do that. If you’re looking for a clean, cheerful, updated room with a comfortable bed and without the fuss and expense of a resort, The Starlite is great!

just the sweetest little place. my partner and i spent the weekend for a mini honeymoon, and the starlite was the perfect choice. i think we were the only people on site (it IS winter in the hudson valley, after all) but we felt very cozy and secure. Alix was easily reachable by text and even hand delivered some adorable merch right to our door. baked goods in the morning, too! thoughtfully designed and comfortably kitschy, we loved the starlite and will most certainly be back in the summer to enjoy cocktails and the on-site pool!

This is not your standard motel. It's an incredibly lovely and wonderful place to stay.

This Motel is extremely clean and unique.

To note: In town for a wedding and the Taxi services are not very reliable. We were going to miss the ceremony and one of the owners (Alex) personally drove us so we wouldn't have to.

Starlite is thee best motel I've ever stayed in. We got there on a Friday afternoon and they were hosting a cocktail night with a pop-up tent serving oysters and lobster rolls. It's located in a convenient spot where you're pretty much 8-10 minutes away from everything. The property and room was accommodating, clean and communication from hotel management was excellent (big thanks to Alix!)

Love the Catskills Cocktail Club on Friday nights. The drinks are amazing to sip on in the retro courtyard. The mule, maple bourbon, and frozen margarita half & half were our drinks of the evening.

Went three weeks later for another relaxed evening and to enjoy the Oyster Party. Still love it!

A cute retro styled motel with modern amenities. Including a sauna, cold plunge, and salt water pool. It’s an easy drive up from the city with lots of hiking trails around.

Loved working at the Starlite for a wedding! Such a unique venue and loads of color! It was a very hot and humid day for an outdoor wedding, but the rooms were air conditioned and guests that were staying there went in the pool before the wedding and during the reception:)

My husband and I got married in June 2022 in Kerhonkson and rented out the Starlite for our weekend events leading up to the wedding. It was absolutely beautiful, intimate, special, and we had the best time working with Alix. This past weekend I had the pleasure of spending a mother daughter weekend at the Starlite with my mom. It was another weekend in paradise- from the comfortable, adorable room to the baked goods waiting at our doorstep- the fun cocktail party on Friday night- it remains to be the biggest gem and one of the most special places in our hearts. Can’t wait to come back!!
