My family and I were visiting and stopped in to check out the puzzles. My son is very shy but the cashier Rob was so friendly and showed my son every kind of puzzle. He kept encouraging him to keep trying until he got each one. Which I really appreciated!👏

Lots of puzzles to try out in their mini play area… handcrafted wooden puzzles and brain teasers for kids and adults ranging from ludo, snake and ladders, chess etc.. invokes a sense of nostalgia.. most of the puzzles have the difficulty level clearly tagged

the guy at the store is extremely passionate about his work.. and puts a lot of effort in keeping every customer engaged and intrigued about the puzzles on display..

Alan is a great guy, our kids were so exited to try the games he has offered to us. We had to drive for 2 hour from San Francisco back home and that games kept them really busy. Great alternative to the tablets and video games. 100% recommend

Stopping in here was a highlight of our vacation! Rob is a wizard and really captured the kid’s interest and attention. His patient prodding and encouragement kept everybody entertained for way longer than I thought possible. Oh yeah, the puzzles are fantastic - we bought a few and have yet to get board! Excellent stop!

Played the last ball on top game in store and loved it. Bought it and brought it home, and 6 months later it's splitting apart. It has ugly cracks where the perimeter is separating from the inside. The games are fun, but I wouldn't recommend buying it from here as the workmanship is shoddy.

We spent a few hours here as a family with three kids ages 9-15. We enjoyed it very much. All food is gluten free, which was also a great advantage for us, as one of our kids has celiac. Great atmosphere. Large selection of games. It is recommended to reserve a table in advance on weekends.

Bought a couple of puzzles here. I love mechanical puzzles like this. Went there last night and while I could have easily just walked out the guy working was great. He immediately handed my kid a puzzle and got him interested and he showed me the good ones and talked to us about them and made it fun for the whole family even though I'm the one that drug them in there. Give that guy a raise.

Love this store! It is such a great experience playing around with puzzles and having the help from the friendly staff. I also appreciate how safety is still prioritized especially with Pier 39 being so crowded.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking for unique gifts for any occasion! Absolute must go when exploring Pier 39
