Went to buy some classic lego for one of my grandchildren.
I was amazed one huge aisle was lined on both sides with lego.
I could have stayed and browsed for ages.
It was good to see what each classic set included and which was best for him.
I hadn't time to explore the rest of shop but the lego aisle will impress young and old alike.

Smyths Sunderland , the 2 managers delivered absolutely brilliant customer service yesterday, I bought a large number of toys on 8th December and went to wrap on Christmas Eve to find I was a present short, went down to the store yesterday 27th December , they looked at the cctv in the shop , confirmed I had left it and replaced it all within five minutes ! Brilliant

I’ve went and bought theese headsets for my son and when he’s playing the shooting sound is going through the wrong side as he’s shooting on the left hand side and it’s more to the right on the headphones and they think it’s okay not answer my call when I phone them I recommend no one to go here it’s terrible service

Unpleasant, discourteous staff.

Visited to collect a pre-paid toy, faced a demand for ID despite having the order copy. When I requested the manager due to my daughter's imminent chemo, the initial staff member dismissively insisted everyone has problems and ushered me out.

The situation was rectified by the manager. The temporary Christmas staff are compromising the service quality. Consider training the less competent staff member.

Went to Smyths today at Sunderland and really couldn't thank the staff enough for their help, me and my partner have been in the store for about an hour and a half trying to get our son the right car seat that doesn't just keep him safe but also fits nicely into the car. There was a staff member went above and beyond to help us try the car seat in the car to make sure it fit and when it wasn't fitting right she helped us with a second car seat and installed it into the car. She stayed with us the whole time we were in the store and even missed her dinner break then when we left and she went on her dinner she then come upto the car to make sure it was getting installed properly by another member of staff. Bearing in mind she was on her dinner break at this point. This young lady really deserves some recognition for the work she has put on today. If you know who this young lass is please tell her I said Thank You once again. She was working around the car seat area with dark hair and is quite small and her name could possibly be Emily but I'm not sure.

Keep cancelling my order DAYS before Christmas then don’t answer the phone! What is the point in having a phone number online if they’re not going to use it. Absolutely useless.
