Do not purchase from smyths stores. They have a policy of no returns on nursery items even if unused considering you can shop anywhere else for the same items I advise you to go elsewhere!!

Bought a buggy for grandson as he's broken leg but realized the poor quality pram chair leg wasn't long enough and made of poor quality. Went to swap and was refused.

Nowhere else has this ridiculous policy and I didn't know of it so this is a warning. Buy elsewhere with more reasonable policies or you might find yourself out of pocket obviously no one want to have to return something but if you do find it unsuitable just know they're going to be unreasonable. It's funny selfridges, John Lewis which sell more expensive items don't have this problem of refunding genuine returns!!!

They don’t gift wrap the toys. They don’t accept AMEX. They don’t bother even putting them in a bag for you and they still charge you for bags even when you spent more than 100 GBP!

Only in the UK would you finds such a walk in toy store!

Love it here. Kids can try out toys, not usually too busy and competitive prices on latest toys also hold events here on occasion.

bought a baby car seat here (27th Dec in the afternoon) , and the assistant Natalie, was very helpful in fitting it into my car, even though it was gale force winds and heavy rain. other stores were very helpful to.
so helpful, I also bot a cot and accessories to go with.
Plus bought a baby walker and two stair gates aswell.

I was in need of an extra seat unit for my Zummi Halo Tandem, so I decided to visit the store. As I walked in, I spotted a friendly staff member named Emma. I approached her with my request, and she displayed great professionalism and a genuine willingness to assist me.

Emma was dedicated to helping customers, so she immediately paused her current task and joined me in my search for the seat unit. We scoured every corner of the store, meticulously checking various sections, but to our disappointment, we couldn't locate the specific seat unit I needed.

Despite Emma's best efforts, her device lacked internet access, making it challenging to find the seat unit's whereabouts. However, she didn't give up. In a resourceful move, Emma borrowed another device from her helpful colleague, enabling her to track down the seat unit I required.

After a thorough investigation, Emma returned with news. She regretfully informed me that the only seat left in stock was the display model. While it had been showcased for customers to view, it was still in excellent condition. Considering the situation, I made the decision to purchase the display model, and to my delight, I received 10% discount on its price.

Thanks to Emma's professionalism, dedication, and problem-solving skills, I was able to acquire the seat unit I needed at a discounted rate. I left the store feeling grateful for her exceptional assistance and satisfied with my purchase.
