I have always got my kids Xmas shopping from here and I will continue to every year.
What a genuinely Absolutely amazing experience tech staff upstairs amazing help.
I was so utterly blown away by the staff working on the evening of the 21st.
I'm sorry Iv forgotten your name but to the guy on the door that took the time to stand outside in the freezing cold and rain with me for that moment while i flapped away like a crackpot
Thank you for treating me a complete stranger with genuine kindness like a human, a welcome friend while I calmed down it allowed me to purchase almost everything I needed for 2 children in one go
whislt for most that may sound like nothing to me it meant the world because It had taken around 3 weeks and countless panic attacks and agonising worry about the amount of people who may be there due to complicated illnesses .
Thank you so much for that moment i had utterly lost all hope of a Christmas for my kids thank you for making their day possible..

Rude not helpful staff. I asked a simple request to unlock a trolly for me because I didn’t have a coin to which I was met by uncaring staff members who were quite happy to let a full trolly of sales go, simply down to the fact they couldn’t be bothered to get the trolly key for a customer. Not good customer service at all. I won’t be returning to this store the Preston branch are much better.

Great toy shop. The staff were all very helpful to any questions that we asked of them. The store is very clean and well managed. Excellent range of toys. They even have a ten pounds or less section if you don’t wish to spend that much money. Glad we went in the end. Got a nice little police car

Great to see about 10 staff members congregated outside the doors 5 minutes to opening this morning, F-ing and Jeffing all over the shop in front of small children that too are also waiting to go in. No consideration given.

Otherwise the Toy shop is okay, staff aren't overly helpful inside either.

Click and Collect order. The staff member saw I had my toddler with me so carried my heavy parcel to my car. Such a nice gesture. Staff have always been good here

Went to purchase a car seat (which can be a daunting experience). Spoke to Nathan who was very knowledgeable and helpful. Also demonstrated the car seats so I could have a practice. Fitted in car free of charge. Very helpful and would highly recommend.

The customer service at the middle brook branch of smyths toys is disgusting ? The guy that served me for click and collect was the most rude and arrogant person I have ever had the displeasure to meet ! I didn’t have photo Identification , which has never ever been an issue anywhere else when I’ve picked up click and collect. I showed him my Visa card and also showed him my online banking which I had to use my fingerprint ID to get on to , to show this jobsworth that I had purchased the item and wasn’t stealing the toy ! He made me feel like a criminal ! Give someone a little power and it’s clearly gone to his head . Buyer beware they may require a DNA sample from you or a blood specimen before he lets you pick up any goods ! If you have spent a hundred pounds or more they WILL NOT LET YOU take your purchase home without drawing blood first ! I would have given zero stars but I didn’t have the option unfortunately.

I love Smith toy super store because all the staff were soooooo kind and the toy I got for my bro he is 4 and the toy did not break for 4 or 5 years it was a car with a remote and now it is in charity. I would recommend you to get thing from there because the price is so low and the toy are made really good really really good qualitie for the toys
