I went into this store several weeks ago to inquire about their longarm quilting class. Shirley said that they have them every 2 months so I signed up for the next one scheduled for the morning of May 14th. I live about an hour away and I made the trip on the specified day. I arrived right at 9:30 and the closed sign was up but the lights were on. I got out of my vehicle and stood by the door for about 20 minutes. During that time, an older lady (NOT Shirley, the one I met a few weeks before headed toward the front, saw me, and promptly turned and walked the other way. I now knew there were people in the shop so I called and knocked. No one answered either so I went to sit in my car. A little before 10, Shirley's daughter who runs the longarm machines showed up. She flipped the sign and unlocked the door. She was the only one in the longarm room until she was later joined by a man. I knew the person conducting the class was a female because Shirley had to call and verify the date when I signed up for the class. Several people came into the shop while I sat in my car awaiting verification that there was actually going to be a class. I checked the website and Facebook page for information on the longarm class but found that it wasn't anywhere to be found. This wasn't a cheap class at $150 for 2 hours but I really wanted to become certified on the longarm machine so I can do my own quilting. I feel insignificant to this shop-LITERALLY ignored- both unseen AND unheard. Shop LOCAL, support SMALL businesses, keep it in YOUR community they say... I tried that and all it got me this time was traffic, frustration, and negative thoughts! I'm not saying I'll never go back to this store, but it definitely won't be my first stop- especially since I have to drive right by Linda Marie's to get to the Sewing Center!

I took my mother's machine in because the bobbin would not lock into place and asked them to clean it and see if they could fix it. When I came back after it, he told me it was not able to be fixed and You could no longer get the part to fix it something about a spring in that interior of it. I brought the machine home. Look at it. They had broken the bobbin case on 1. I also blew it out. And got a tremendous amount of lint dirt, everything out of it. I proceeded to work on the machine. And after a couple of hours, I am now sewing perfectly where he could not even get it to sew, so I would not advise anyone use him to repair your machine.Because obviously he does not know what he's talking about and charging people for it.So good luck, folks, and he broke my light

This store is so accommodating and if they don't have the answer to a question they will find the answer. The Sewing Center Etc. offers a nice range of classes and is always ready to assist you. The supply lines are extensive and I now own two Berninas that I am thrilled with. This store is a great place to meet others with the same interests and expand your sewing or quilting knowledge quickly and with fun.

Didn't even make it into the store. Contacted through email. They ignored my question and rudley made a statement about another sentence in the email. When I responded to clarify what I was asking they ignored the email. That was more than 10 months and still no response. I had expected more from a Bernina dealer, poor customer service obviously sticks with someone for a long time.

I drove almost 2 hours to come shop in this store on Saturday,. Their online store hours as well as their sign on their door clearly states that they are open until 2pm on Saturday but the lights were off and they were not open with no explanation on the door. Very disappointed for a wasted trip!!

It said in their site that they were open...drove 36 miles only to find them closed and no sign on their door. Very disappointed!
