Many acres of beautiful gardens! It’s one (might be the only one I think!) of the only botanical gardens that have all Southern Californian native plants and flowers! The staff is so amazingly knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! It definitely a stop on your visit to Santa Barbara! It’s a real hidden gem! You can even purchase native plants in their adorable little nursery!

Last time I visited I picked up a pair of Felco's as I've never seen them before. Best decision ever. One of the few places and only NGO / 501c3 org that have Felco's for sale. Sure they're $70 shears, but wow. Powered through dead grape branches, bougainvillea, eucalyptus, etc. The very lovely person working gave me a military discount too!! I'll buy a bunch next time I'm in the area and give them as stocking stuffers. They'll outlive me and have replaceable parts.

My family has been visiting this park for generations. This is a great little gift shop. They have all your California nature gifts you could ever need. They even had silk fake poppy flowers. Grab a souvenir this is a place to not forget. You can see the nursery from the window. Did you notice the troll on the nature trail?
