I was disappointed to drive an hour away to have it be closed on a Saturday. We arrived at 3pm and doors were locked. Other families were also waiting thinking there was a mistake. I double checked online to make sure it was open and to double check the hours. I even called and it rang with no message saying that it was closed. Not sure what we could have done differently but I had two disappointed kids.

We went here as school children on class trips and fun to visit again and find new displays on dinosaurs in Iowa and local Native American village when we took our grandson. Nice show in the planetarium too. Hands on science learning experiments were fun for our 10 year old grandson too! He enjoyed it.

Fun, free educational place. They are always making improvements and updating displays. Wonderful programing for all ages. Traveling exhibits and artwork changes monthly/quarterly. New planetarium programs are interesting. Elevator access to all floors, now. Fun, inexpensive gift shop with a free book exchange available.

I brought my kids to see the planetarium show a little early, and it was closed. They were really looking forward to it. We were quite disappointed!

This is a hidden gem. My kids loved it. We came for the planetarium presentation but the interactive stuff was great too.

Just happened to see a sign for the museum so I stopped in and was so glad I did! It's very cute and kid centered but educational all the same. Great stop!

A small and free museum that also has a planetarium! There are planetarium shows on Wednesdays and Sundays.
