Me and my mom have known the lady who works there ever since I was a little kid, and she’s nice and a pleasure to speak with.

Rosie Lee imports is a great place to go for British snacks, especially if you prefer shopping irl over online shopping. I highly recommend the bitter shandy. It’s essentially beer-flavored soda, and while it contains a very small amount of alcohol, you don’t have to be 21+ to drink it. Also, it only costs $2 per can despite being imported and, at least where I live, rare. Definitely worth a try if it sounds like something you’d enjoy.

The dandelion and burdock soda is great too. The flavor is like black licorice but sweeter and less fennel-like, sort of like cola but much better. Definitely recommend, and both my mom and I love it!

The nougat candies are very affordable and delicious, and the Turkish delights are, well, delightful!

Most of the candy is fairly expensive, but not all of it. It depends on what you want to get.

This is a great little British shop that has all of your typical UK favorites. If you are an Aussie, it also has some great Australian items like meat pies pasties Vegemite and other great lollies. The owner is very friendly and there is a good range of all sorts of stuff here.

As daughter of Brits, I must have a reliable resource for PG tips, Bird's custard powder, Marmite, and other essentials! Rosie Lee is on my monthly stroll up & down Main for those supplies!

Just stepped into the store to see if they have Devonshire cream. They only had clotted cream. The lady was rude. Showed me the clotted cream and when I told her that was a brand I had before and didn’t like it, she said that I was “wrong” and that is what is used for scones. She obviously didn’t want my business.

I was a vendor at the wonder wine walk where I was assigned space in the road the the right of this shop. Instantly when I got out of my car the owner comes out very upset and says “you’re not setting up here right?” And I pointed to where I was setting up she rolled her eyes and told me not to block her business. I just continued on setting up in the spot I was assigned l in the road diagonal from her.
Later on it was getting cold and I had my 3 small kids so I put the walls of my tent up to block any cold breezes. At this point it’s dark outside and there’s a couple hours left of the event.
This business sent a very rude man to tell me my tent is blocking their business. He told me to take down my walls and before I could even say anything he very rudely asked “do you understand what I’m telling you?” He rolled his eyes and walked off. But like I said I’m in the road where I paid a lot of money to be if they don’t like it they need to complain to the city who organizes the event not harass me. But they were not done.
The female came back like 10min lady basically shaking with anger again demanding me to take down my walls saying she’s going to complain, she pays taxes and I can’t be blocking her business and walks off. Literally right after ANOTHER woman is sent to try to persuade us to take down our walls!

The event was one night, in the street, not in front of her shop and the woman harassed us multiple times instead of just contacting the city to complain. Her behavior was very unprofessional, and rude. I had no control over where the city assigned my spot and I paid a lot of money to be a vendor there, and I had my kids to keep warm & safe and think of. One business that was actually blocked by booths directly in front of it just placed their sign in the middle of the road for people to see they were there. They didn’t harass anyone. We’re all just trying to pay our bills, take care of our families, and you’d think they could be either patient for one night knowing months ahead the event was taking place or that they would complain to the right people who organized the event and not harass other businesses. I agree that the organizers did not do a great job picking spots to put the vendors unlike last year but we had no control over that. 🤷🏽‍♀️

The shop has a lot of fun stuff and very good food actually. Try the Irish shortbread cookies. I like them better than the Walker's brand. The frozen pies, pasties and sausages are very good.
The owner is very nice and helpful.
