I had a unique experience today at Robert’s Sewing Center. I didn’t realize they were closed on Sunday. Turned around to leave and a gentleman opened the door. He invited me inside even tho it was closed. Fixed my machine and then showed me how to do it if it happens again. Big store, big shopping for sewers and quilters. I appreciated the time and courtesy I was given by a 3 rd generation family member ! Thank you for making my day a little brighter.
Ps Dropped the box with my sewing machine in it. Haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it’s ok and if it’s not I know right where to take it.

I was there visiting with my friend who was showing me the shop. I met the owner and thought he was very sweet. I could tell he was a kind man and hard-working.

Was totally ignored when I went in here. There were two employees at the front door. One was helping a lady but the other one didn't appear busy. It was hugely awkward to walk around. I felt like I was going to be yelled at for being somewhere in the store that I didn't belong. There were other employees in a glassed in area in the back who also ignored me. Won't be back.

What a pleasure it was purchasing from this family business. I was looking online for a particular line of fabric and came across this little gem of a store. I was a tad nervous ordering from a store I hadn't heard of before; but, didn't need to be! Unbelievably fast shipment, great service. I hope to shop here again in the near future. Thanks so much!

This place is not the vibe. I live nearby and always been meaning to stop in and check it out. I finally got the chance and found some fabric I liked. I went to get it cut and the woman at the counter (Pam I think her name was ) basically couldn’t care less about my existence. I asked if this was the area where they cut fabric since it was my first time. She was cold and not friendly. I was trying to make conversation and then another woman walked in and they started a conversation while I was standing there awkwardly.

Eventually she ditched me completely and asked another employee to help me instead. This second woman was the complete opposite luckily. She was kind and helped me out, chatted with me. I don’t recall her name unfortunately.

I won’t return here, I felt super unwelcome pretty much right when I walked in. Maybe it’s an age thing? I was the youngest person in there probably by 30 years.
