Easily the best Model Kit Store in the NYC metro area. The owners are helpful in finding what your looking for or if you have an issue. The variety is second to none and even offered a 50% off sale for Trumpeter kits, which I've never seen a store like this do. The prices are also decent. Overall, I'd make this my primary store to buy new model kits from. Also has a functioning website/inventory system which is also unheard of.

First of all, Peggy was so kind to let me in 1 minute before closing. And on top of that she was so patient in showing me different planes and cars to choose from. The place is massive and FULL of many toys, collectible cars, planes, ships, you name it! Best of all, their die cast items are reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back.

Pleasantly surprised to find this model shop while I simply wanted to buy a couple bottles of model paint few days ago. Besides remote control and scale trains, they have a huge collection of plastic scale models and books, very reasonably priced. I wasn’t going to buy much, but picked up few in my 1.5-hour visit. I’ll definitely come again and introduce to other model enthusiasts in our area. I haven’t spent much time browsing through the web site yet, but it seems to have even bigger selection than I have seen in the store.

Ridgefield hobby is a cool little place that time forgot... That's not a bad thing. I came in to see if they had Tamiya paint and they had the whole collection it seems, as well as testors. I came in to see a coffee shop in the front with some friendly patrons. I felt welcomed immediately. They had lots of cool trains and die casts on display. The model room in the back had so many cool models. I will definitely be back.

Peggy is personable and jimmy is knowledgeable about kits, but has an unpleasant personality. If you’re looking for a hard to find model kit from the 60s, 70s or 80s, this is your place!
