This soulfully curated shop teems with good taste at every price point. I really appreciate that there's small gifts even my kid can buy with her allowance ($5-$10) as well locally made housewares I aspire to have in my home. Walking into RIDER Gift Shop elicits joy. It’s community personified. It’s the mom in mom n’ pop — a reflection of the owner herself: thoughtful, intentional, and community-driven. The shelves are filled with locally sourced and handmade items. If you want to shop with intention, this is the place to do it.

I’ve picked out one-of-a-kind stocking stuffers, birthday cards for friends, last-minute-gifts for kiddos, tissue paper that makes a a present pop, specialty chocolates and even earrings for myself.

Rider Gifts is the kind of store that always has a special item(they have many special items, actually) when you are looking for a gift. Both of Rider Gifts Stores, the one on 8th Avenue and the one in 5th Avenue each feel very welcoming when you enter. There are so many items, but it never feels cramped or cluttered. Always fun and interesting place to shop!

Stumbled upon this gem of a store while visiting the South Slope for dinner. Great assortment of small gifts and novelties - many locally made and really unique. Friendly interaction and just an awesome all-around experience. I'll be back!!
