Stopped in today, met Rick. Super cool dude and very knowledgeable. Helped out everyone with great respect. I even walked out with one of the nicest spinning setups I've ever owned and at a solid price. Shop is stocked well and with quality gear. And as said before very knowledgeable.

Rick's love for fishing in the mammoth lakes region instantly shows with all the information, tips, and tricks, he is willing to share. There is an information board in the front of the shop to give you the latest on what's happening at the local lakes and he and his staff are more than willing to fill in any questions you may have. I used his map that he freely hands out to help you easily navigate to any of the lakes on lake Mary road. Tell him or the staff what your fishing plans are and they will do their best to see that you have great memories to take home.

Great service and good prices. Got our fishing licenses, some good advice and gear in less then 10 minutes. Even bought a cool shirt for $20. Most other stores in Mammoth want $30 for lower quality shirts.

Go see Eric!!👌 Met him when i lived there and knows all the good spots and what the fish want from place to place and species to species of trout! From Creeks to lakes and not just the ones you drive to to the hike into Backcountry he's the guy to see!

Great experience with Rick. Now don’t get me wrong he’s very opinionated and set in his ways. The guy it’s genuine through and through. We arrived needing help with fishing advice and places to fish. Rick was all over it. Told us what we needed, where to go and how to fish. It resulted in the best fishing experience of my kids life. Thank you a Rick. Next time I stop by I won’t use the words “ohhhh really again” lolololol. Thank you again for the help.

First fish! Grandson and I grabbed some gear at Ricks’s and went up to Lake Mary for some fall fishing. Grandson caught his first fish. Well done!
