Almost a destination of its own, Red Rabbit gets a dedicated day during my stays. The clothes are quality, with familiar names like Color Me Cotton (CMC) and Laurel Burch and brands you've not heard of (but will certainly be on your radar after your visit). Hidden nooks contain inspired outfits and incredible sales.

The chat is always robust and enlightening, too. I love hearing local perspectives and relocation stories. On one visit, the owner fixed a hole in my favorite sweater on the spot! She always makes me feel welcome and never hovers or tries to upsell.

I frequently visit boutiques in Carlsbad, Seal Beach, and Arroyo Grande, but they don't have Red Rabbit's charm. It's just an awesome shop in the sweetest mountain town.

Incredible customer service and a lovely assortment of women’s boutique clothing, jewelry, and small gifts. The owner sources quite a lot of clothing and jewelry made in the United States and actually knows how long each brand she carries has been in business! I’d say that Red Rabbit has by far the most impressive retail service in town, and the owner is such a nice woman. Highly recommended!
