This is a great studio to sharpen skills or to make new ones. The general friendliness of the patrons and teachers make you feel right at home. Daniel the lead instructor is very hospitable, considerate and cultivates a great atmosphere for creativity. My family and I had to move out of state but my only regret is not taking more classes at this studio. You won’t regret it!

Raminfard is state-of-the-art for everyone, whether this is the first time you have ever picked up a pencil or if you have been working with art your entire life. Daniel is a magnificent teacher who truly cares and accommodates people of all ages and is meticulous from the big picture and composition to the finest of details of which only a trained artist can see. With soft and hard graphite, vine charcoal, charcoal pencils, and compressed charcoal, I may add, he teaches you how to master the basic forms of the cube, cone, and sphere. With pastels and pastel pencils, he introduces you to the world of color in a simple yet sophisticated manner for every application conceivable. And finally, with acrylics, and oils he gives you the freedom to paint your dreams. The atmosphere is unlike anything I have ever seen with scented candles, to bookshelves filled with a lifetimes worth of creative knowledge and craftsmanship, to the beautiful cascading hills in the distance, and gentle music. You are not only paying for the art, you are paying for the artist, and an experience that you cannot get anywhere else.

Raminfard School of Arts was, at first, a one off for myself and my grandfather; a fun activity to do, once, as just something to do together. What started as one day, became a multi-week endeavor, and then quickly turned into an unending experience. Now, months later, myself and my grandfather go in once a week (schedule permitting) to enjoy the community that Daniel has created at the school. To see familiar faces, their developing art skills, and the helpful and supportive teachers is genuinely a high point of my week, spent with my grandfather to cap it off. I cannot recommend the School more highly.

Daniel and Vian are great teachers. They are very patient and guide you through the process of drawing/painting very clearly and concisely. They offer constructive criticism as often as they praise you and your progress. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking into starting drawing as a hobby or if you’re looking to pick it up again after some time off.

I have always wanted to learn how to draw and paint, and I am so happy to find this art studio. Daniel is such a talented artist as well as a great and patient teacher. I have only come here three times but I can already see substantial improvement thanks to Daniel and Abby's helpful instruction. I like the flexibility so that you can come any time that works for your schedule, and you can work on your project at your own pace. The teachers are very patient and encouraging. I have seen some beautiful pieces that other students were working on, and I am looking forward to being able to do one of those myself in the near future.

I'm new to art and I've been coming here frequently for a while now. Abby and Daniel have both been super supportive and helpful in guiding me first through the basics and also teaching me how to simplify everything I see into shapes as a very important part of any drawing practice. I appreciate coming here a lot and enjoy the instruction, atmosphere and art that I'm able to create and that I see from other students. The classes are never too huge so you always get the attention you need and the schedule is so flexible. Definitely recommend this to people of all art backgrounds and experiences.

I discovered the Raminfard School of Arts about a year ago and have been hooked ever since. I love that you can work on your own project at your own pace and receive personalized instruction in a friendly group environment. The classes are flexible so you don't have to commit to a fixed schedule. Daniel is an extremely talented artist who passionately shares his artistic gift with his students. In just a few brush strokes he can show you how to bring your painting to the next level. I have learned so much from Daniel and Abby and am amazed at what I have been able to achieve. I love coming to art class. It's my therapy! Highly recommend to art students of all levels!

I highly recommend Daniel Raminfard's School of Arts. My oil paintings have improved enormously in the time I've spent studying there. Daniel Raminfard and his co-teachers are wonderful-- so knowledgeable, helpful and supportive. I also enjoy painting in this pleasant space with other students who share my love for art. Aside from that, compared to other art schools, which offer a limited, once-a-week course for hundreds of dollars, Daniel offers discounts if you buy classes by the month and a deep discount if you buy tickets for several months . Then you can come in for classes several times a week; if you miss a week, your tickets never expire.
