Love going to raging gazebo!! Employees are very nice and accommodating to new players like my daughter and I. Great family environment! We try to attend every Thursday we’re able for casual magic. They also have a great selection of packaged and single cards available for purchase. Overall one of my favorite places in North Alabama!!

Actually the worst game shop experience I've had and that's saying a lot. It's all the owner. She was standoffish and rude from the moment we walked in and immediately made it clear she wasn't ready to honor what her staff had told me the week before about selling cards there. She had changed her mind over the few days between my visits and she wasn't going to treat us fairly. She pretended she was going to do the right thing and honor what we were promised since we drove so far to get there and then we realized we forgot a box in the car a little down the road and went back to give them the missing box. She then informed us they weren't interested in our collection and that they were not in good enough condition, pulling a random card to prove that they were "water damaged". The card she showed me was literally in mint condition.
All the cards that had been played were double sleeved in perfect fit sleeves.
I realized then what she did was agreed to take them (because I was upset about her going back on what we'd been told) with the intention of just calling us in a couple days and telling us they wouldn't buy them anyway but then it would seem like it wasn't her fault.
I should've realized that from the way she talked.
She really doesn't seem to understand that a small business relies on customers support and that treating people right is important to keeping in business. To me treating people right is important period, but it's clear she wouldn't agree.

It's a shame because it seems like a nice space and the other staff were very nice the first visit.
The owner is just unfortunately unkind and scummy.
Makes me appreciate my local game shop so much more even if they don't buy cards. At least they are kind and welcoming and never treat anyone unfairly.
If you're planning to sell a collection here, look for somewhere with better ethics and better customer service. After seeing her outright lie to my face about the condition of my cards, I feel she probably skims off the collections she does buy anyway. If she can look me in the eyes and tell me a pristine card in mint condition is water damaged, she is too comfortable with lying for me to do business with her anyway.

What a beautiful, family friendly store. They have quite a variety of board games, books, trading card games, and of course comic books for all ages. I even got a couple HABA board games for a two year old! Very bright, welcoming store, the people are friendly and knowledgeable about their products and were happy to help me choose (yes they had THAT many options). They have several game tables for open play and a vibrant community of gamers. And if that wasn't enough, they have bright, clean restrooms!

This is always my go to shop for One Piece and I cannot express how nice Shannon and Mikey are. They always are happy to answer any questions, especially since my fiancé and I are new to the scene of One Piece TCG. Shannon is always greeting us and encouraging us to come play on Tuesdays even has someone completely new (which i will finally be doing). Mikey has helped looked at our cards to give his expertise and always does it with the friendliest attitude.

I don’t understand some of the reviews saying the customer support is rude, as we have always been nice and have received nothing but kindness back.

They always listen as we geek about some pulls we get and they treat it like a home for many people.

Cannot recommend them enough.

I frequent this store and find the atmosphere and staff to be friendly, inviting, and helpful. The owner, Shanna, is literally the sweetest woman in this state! The environment is kid and family friendly! I would not feel uncomfortable bringing my children here or having my mother join me for a game of cards!

The employees are super nice and helpful. Family friendly environment. The store is well stocked with lots of options to choose from whether you’re playing Magic the Gathering, D&D, there are comic books, manga, t-shirts, etc. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

Suggest taking your Mtg prerelease business elsewhere. No where on their website do they state a limit on the signups but there is one and it's 20. Learning this is the difference between me getting to prerelease play Tarkir Dragonstorm and not. Sad to say there was no indication of their either the first time I went to them for a prerelease. There are other card shops in Huntsville with much closer to unlimited sign ups that I would suggest taking your business to if you want to be sure you'll be able to play.

This place was SO cool! They had all types of board games, comic books, D&D stuff. More importanly, they don't charge for WiFi. Clean restrooms, air conditioning, and safe place for the kids to play games. I'm looking forward to bringing my 5 year-old back here. She had a ton of fun. The staff was friendly. I'm glad another kid friendly place has opened in Madision. Thanks Raging Gazebo.
