We had a house fire where several of our guns were damaged very badly. R&L Lee Gunsmith was recommended by a family member to us.

I took all the damaged guns up to Rich thinking some may be beyond repair. After speaking with him he assured me he could fix all of them. I picked them up today and to my amazement they all look like brand new guns! Better than I’ve ever seen them look, to the point that I didn’t even recognize some of my own guns!

I wish I had before pictures so you could actually see the transformation Rich did. I’m attaching a few guns that he re- blued and refinished the stocks on. These guns were nothing but solid rust from the bluing being baked off from the heat of the fire. They looked like they belonged in the trash before I took them to Rich.

Rich does amazing work period. If you’re in need of anything gun related go see R&L Gunsmith I guarantee you won’t be disappointed in his work! He has my 100% recommendation!

Rich did an absolutely fantastic job for me. For fathers day I wanted to restore my great grandfathers Marlin 336 to give to my grandfather. I hardly knew where to start, but once I got it all apart I decided I needed to get it professionally blued since it was out of my ballpark. After careful consideration I chose Mr. Lee and I am so happy I went with him. He may not have thousands of reviews but I will vouch that he is the real deal. I can only imagine how many hours he spent working on the pile of rust that I gave him but wow did it turn out FANTASTIC! He even took the time to tell me how I should finish the stock (which turned out AMAZING!). I cannot be more thankful for the great work that this shop does. Thank you so much! I cannot wait to see what my grandfather thinks of this nearly 60 year old family heirloom that looks almost brand new.

Just had two shotguns reworked by Richard. Great work on both. Remington model 11 needed pitting removed from receiver and reblued a new stock refitted and he cleaned up the forearm wood to match the stock...great job

The other Remington 878 had gas cycle issues and needed reblueing as well. Richard worked that out also. I will definitely come back with more work for him.
