My boyfriend and I visited on Saturday afternoon and as beginners, we had a great time! The facility was well-maintained, with plenty of space for beginners and experienced archers. Plus the young man who was our instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, ensuring we felt comfortable with the equipment and shooting techniques. Overall friendly and welcoming environment. I highly
recommend for anyone looking to try something new!

Although I Chose Not To Participate I Sat Back & Observed The Instructor ( I Forgot Her Name ) Do An Exceptional Job At Teaching My Friend & Her Sisters How To Shoot A Bow & Arrow. She Showed A Great Amount Of Patience & She Made The Girls Feel Comfortable. I Highly Recommend This Place. When I Visit NYC Again I’ll Participate Next Time.

I visited for the first time on a Saturday and had a great time. Rented a bow, arrows, and a lane for $20 for 2 hours (seemed like a good price to me). Instruction was included, and it was quick but effective. The location is a bit out of the way if you live in the city, but it's subway accessible. Upon entering, the place looks incredibly busy, but there's an order to the chaos. I only had to wait about 10 minutes for a lane to free up and to receive my equipment and instructions. Highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.

My group was a group of three women, very welcoming and patient teacher. The class was one hour for 25 dollars per person, and it’s organized. Safety is prioritized, and the space is clean. I will recommend to others.

Been here twice with my friends and each time has been a great experience. Was completely new to archery on my first visit and the instructor was amazing; patient, helpful, and attentive. Even after teaching us the basics she watched from a distance and gave us tips and corrections on our posture and stance. On the second visit we got a nice refresher since two people in our group were new.

Prices are very reasonable! $25 covers the lane time, instruction, AND Rental equipment. Snacks and drinks are inexpensive and readily available. Lanes are clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet. People and staff are friendly, would recommend giving this place a visit.

Joe helped me build my first bow today and took the time to answer all my questions and give amazing customer service, and even taught me a few things about shooting my new bow on their range too. Thank you so much!

This is a great place! The people are pretty helpful there. I actually live closer to a different archery place, like a 30 minute drive, but I make the 2.5 hour commute to get to this archery place because I love the rates & the helpful community. They don't charge by the hour. They charge 1 flat rate, have a student discount, and also a discount if you have your own bow.

I had a bow that was too small for me & they helped me pick a length and draw weight for a new bow. They have helpful staff who adjust my draw weight if it's too heavy and even showed me how to fix the sight & everything on the bow.

Not only are the staff helpful, but the other customers. They won't think twice about helping me if I ask. Sometimes I get different advice from different people, but you just have to follow the one who gives the best advice. It can get busy, but it doesn't feel too tight. It has a lot more lanes than (about twice as many) the one in Mamaroneck. There's a beginner set of lanes (about 5) and the rest are long range. The lanes go up to 15 if I recall correctly. I love that they (staff & even veteran archers) watch you & offer corrections if needed and praise you if you're doing something well. This place has been the best experience I have had in archery from my beginner days to now. They don't seem to only give instructions based on gender... because when I brought my boyfriend there some time last year, they helped him just as they would have helped me.

If there are a lot of new learners, they may add an extra close range set of 2 or 3 lanes, and they are safe too. We have a set of rules to follow. Waiting to pick up the arrows, standing behind the table if not shooting, 5 arrow max per round etc. It's all for safety.

I spend hours there, so I usually order food (delivery or many food places across the street) when I'm there & they have tables to sit at & eat. They also sell candy & drinks if you don't want anything heavy.

I started out at close range, then moved to long range. There was even one day where I came in and set up, then went to shoot long range and got a bulls-eye. I couldn't see, but someone said I had and not to shoot again for that paper. I went up and it was a bulls-eye. I got a new paper and went to shoot again, then got a bulls-eye again...lol, it happened 3 times in a row before the nerves got to me, haha (everyone was totally watching). But I haven't been back since work and school is taking up so much of my free time and I spend HOURS there. Can't wait to go back when exams let up!

If you can get there and have a choice between Mamaroneck and Here...go here! You'll regret going to the other one if you need any form of instruction.
