I went to this store on Friday. Only customer in the store and the employee did not bother to greet me. Yet, she followed me around like I was a thief.
I live in Texas now but typically make a point to stop in. I usually spend a decent amount but, this time I only bought a little bird off the clearance section.
When I went to pay she told me I'd have to pay cash since she pays $1 for each transaction. The just slid my purchase to me without offering a receipt or even a bag. She seemed very bothered.
I too own a small business. I take credit cards, happily. Every single one of my clients is important.
I can't see this store surviving with such poor customer service. Very disappointing!!

your store has nice items. many choices to pick from. however your customer service needs to improve. will come in and browse around and nobody greets me. can look and see me but no friendleness at all. this is very important in retail. hope it changes in your store. thank you

Loved the inventory. Was overwhelmed and overthinking what I should buy my 70 year old mother as she has everything she really needs but this place is unique. Not one word was said to me and I also felt as though I was being judged and watched like I was going to steal something. I’m sure it didn’t help that I was in sweats and a ball cap but, I ended up being so uncomfortable that I refused to give this place my hard earned $

I visit this store frequently for all my unique gifts and holiday and home decor. Staff is so very friendly and so helpful! Hands down best specialty gift shop in Rockford. If you haven’t made a visit yet, be sure you do!

Very eclectic gift shop. Some very unique items but rather overpriced. Parking was difficult and customer service was lax at best. The store is very cluttered and treasures are easy to miss due to the lack of space to maneuver. I would not recommend this for anyone with a handicap as spaces are small are very hard to navigate without bumping and potentially breaking things.

The blond lady made me feel like a criminal. She walked up to my daughter and I and asked if she could help. When I said I shop there and I was just showing her around the town she saiid ok and walked away. Then she kept circling us making it feel very uncomfortable. I asked if something was sold separately and the said “but they start at 165 so….) implying that she didn’t think I could afford it! It was uncomfortable and insulting and I will never go back again. It’s so overpriced anyways but I still liked their stuff but I wont be treated like that.
