Poppy’s Toy Store is truly magical! The owner, Kate, is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond to make every visit special. My daughter, Poppy, shares the store's name, which makes it extra meaningful for us, and they treat her like royalty every time we come in. The selection of toys is incredible, and the personal touch Kate adds to everything makes this store stand out. We always leave with smiles on our faces and treasures in hand. Highly recommend this gem in Petaluma!

Wonderful toy store in Downtown Petaluma. It has a great range of toys for all ages and the owner was extremely helpful, guiding us to find the right toys for our little grandson. He adored the brush set we got him to go with his new “kitchen”. We visited the store a number of times during our visit to the area and will certainly return.

I've been coming here for years and I strolled through a few months ago and something was different... a fabulous woman named Kate introduced herself as the new owner and this woman is doing what we are all dreaming of... she left her corporate job to buy a toy store in downtown Petaluma and is making it fabulous. She has all the great toys but also features local creators and their fabulous toys. There is space to play and test out new toys with your kiddos and she is making a community shopping experience as much as a fabulous place to get some new toys. There's a great clean bathroom and gift wrapping available if you need to grab a gift for one of the hundreds of birthday parties you end up attending after your wee ones get social. I'll be back soon!

This is more than a toy store - it’s a place for our community, our families and our friends to come together with our kids and allow them to play, imagine and explore. Kate, Ben and the entire staff are warm, welcoming and fun. I love what they are doing not only at Poppy’s but in our town and feel very lucky to live here. Their selection of toys is broad, extensive and also supports other local makers and brands. Come here for a toy (or two) and stay for the good people and good times!

So excited this place exists! It's so much more than just a toy store. The new owners have really focused on fostering a place where people can come, hang out and play. You can tell that they are all about building community. Its such very warm and welcoming environment for all 🙂

Great toys and excellent customer service. Definitely check this place out if you're in the Petaluma area.

Wow! This place made me feel good about my day instantly! Such a cute and tasteful vibe! I didn't know this toy store was in town before!
I went in just to check it out and have a good time with my girl, and we found some cute games for our grown up (!) gatherings.

The best toy store around!!

Poppy’s not only has an incredible variety of toys for kids of all ages, it’s also owned by the kindest local family. They even have a sweet shop dog named Bruno that’s very friendly.

When you walk into Poppy’s you immediately feel welcome by the warm and knowledgeable staff. They’re really helpful and will guide to the perfect gift for any kid.

They also have this wonderful play area with delicious snacks and drinks and they encourage you to stay and hang out. It’s such a Petaluma gem!

We LOVE Poppy’s! Our girls love to pop in and look around. They seem to be bringing in new products regularly and the new owners are super friendly and are always chatting w people as they come in. There is now a sitting area and toys available for kids to play. Our girls are a little older so they are more interested in puzzles + legos but if I had a smaller kiddo it would be a cool place to hang for a bit and let them play.
