Place is good the have a lot of inventory but they should keep a track list of customers because most of the time is the same people at that place just waiting for a good car to get the engine and other parts and they re sell it for more that the double of the original amount some times more and I think those junk yards should be for regular customers not for business because I went to look for a engine for a Toyota Camry 2007 and all the engines were gone they put a Camry at the moment when I was at the place the guys that work there we’re dealing with workers and I saw one guy giving money to one of the workers and than he brought a Toyota Camry for them is about business if you to look for a engine you will not found it because there a lot people waiting for the good parts take them to their shop and cleaned and re sell it for 3 times what they pay in there so don’t go there if they you see you that you looking for a part that they need they look you bad but those rats are not the owners of the yard but they make you feel like if there are the owners

Liars! Never go here! I waited for a car that was supposed to be available and got there at opening that day. I walked straight back to the car and it was picked clean. I drove an hour to get there. Obviously they are letting other people get access to pick these vehicles before they are available. Wasted half my day getting to this place. Never again!

Update: the admission has more than doubled, now $5 to get in. Parts prices seemed to have tripled. All locations go by the same pricing index. Other location wanted to charge me $456 for a cracked bumper cover. Extra for license plate holder. Extra for 1 busted fog light & extra for the 18 inch foam insert.

This place is busy on the weekends. They have a large volume of cars and trucks. Also they have a extra section inside. Listed as PRIMO AUTO. It's another lot inside and you gave to pay an extra $2 to get in there on top of the $3 you pay to enter. It's a roll of the dice if your parts are still on the car when you get there. At times they will be stripped to the bone. Also many people will damage and cut things up just to get their simple part. For example let's rip the seats out and break the windshield to get the cigarette lighter. Don't forget to cut the wiring harness. They offer a 90 day warranty program. Bring it back if it does not work or fit. If you do not want to pay extra for the 90 day warranty. You better tell them first because they will automatically charge you for it. They have wheel barrels available if you need to move big items. Also have engine hoist for pulling motors. Porto potties out on the yard. No more give your phone number and get points for discounts. Parking lot is big. They have food truck and others selling stuff in the parking lot. Also out front on the street.

I was attacked by a regular who goes here and takes all the parts he can to sell on line for more money. I went to get parts for my car and he came and started taking things I needed for my car. When I told him that I came here for that as I need it for my personal car, he told me "don't tell me what to do" and started pushing me. I told the people who worked there and they did nothing. He also broke the part I was teying to get out of anger. I went and reported it to management and they kicked me out and I can't go back, this is not how you do business. Over all I'm am very disappointed with how they do things here I would give 0 stars for letting regulator who attack people just trying to fix their cars. DO BETTER

I don’t understand why they say on their website that they offer free car removal services when you sell them your old car but they don’t. I had a junk car sitting in my yard for a few years, and I figured that it was time to get rid of it and I heard of them. I went on their website got a quote and everything, and the only reason why I went with them was because the website states that when you sell the car to them they will provide FREE car removal services, but when I called to finish my quote they said that no I have to pay almost $200 to get my car picked up! If you state that you offer free car removal on your website but you don’t then don’t say that you do! The customer service person I was speaking to wasn’t too friendly either questioning me if I was reading the right website or calling the right company when the number I called was the number from the website! I’ll submit the picture I took from THIER website supporting my frustrations.

One of my favorite places.. Walking through the rows upon rows of salvage cars, looking at what parts are there and what I could do with them.. There's something therapeutic about it sun valley Lkq is usually always hot, but if you get there early it's actually quite nice. The security there are two of the coolest guys I've met. I love the wreck yards, sun valley, Monrovia, Wilmington, Fontana.. It doesn't matter, Lkq is great!

This place has changed for the worse. They buy cars dirt cheap and Part them at a huge profit. I find it better to buy new parts than to waste your time and energy pulling parts only to find out their parts will sell almost at retail price. The staff is incredibly rude. The guard at the gate acts like he owns the junk yard. I don't recommend anyone go to this place unless it's an absolute emergency and you can't find parts online.

NEGATIVE STARS!!! I was steeply overcharged a $60 part removal fee for a part that I picked off the floor without need to unbolt anything!! The workers appear to be miserable and are very unwelcoming. Try another location.
