Called and was told hours of operation today would be 1pm-7pm, show up just after 3pm and store is closed, sign says will return at 4pm, it is now well after 4pm and still not open. Very frustrating as I drove a very long way to get here.

Called to ask if they sell fruit flies. She said yes so I asked what kind (species) it is. She didn’t seem to understand what I was asking so I tried to reword it and asked if she knew the name of the fly. She said no… I thought this was odd considering knowing the species or name of the thing you’re selling is the MOST basic information you could know… unfortunately, I thought it best not to risk coming considering I specifically need the smaller species of fruit fly (d. melanogaster) which are much harder to find in stock than the larger species (D. Hydei), based off past experiences with other stores. I noticed another review stating they received no knowledge about the animal they bought and it died in a few months, so I’m assuming this lack of knowledge is commonplace? I highly suggest training staff on basic knowledge (most of all the names) of all animals they sell, or if they don’t know, instruct employee to get information from a more knowledgeable employee. The female employee I spoke to seemed very nice and maybe is a family member of the owner, but regardless employees who are family members should still be knowledgeable about the very basic stuff or know what to do if they don’t know the answer to a question a customer has

Many tanks and cages are way too overcrowded. I went and there were around eight bearded dragons in one tank, they are very territorial animals. It isn't safe and definitely crosses the line of animal neglect/abuse.

Other animals don't even have the space they need despite there only being one in the tank. Turtles live in small tubs, eleven hamsters in a ten gallon, rats given in random used containers, the list can go on and on. I've had to go with family multiple times and have seen many sick reptiles not being cared for correctly. The owners of this store do NOT care for the animals at all.

If you want any feed or just a pet in general, do not go here.

A great small business. Family operated. They are very knowledgeable and can offer advice regarding pet's. We get our dog, chicken and bunny feed all from this location. We purchased a dwarf bunny for our daughter for Christmas and we instantly fell in love. Good prices and a great selection on different animals available. Definitely a return customer and i would highly recommend it.

Bought a gecko from here got poor information about it I didn’t get told what to buy for it wasn’t told how to care for it and it wasn’t more than 4 months old it died in a few months because of its poor condition and poor customer service and every time I went they were always out of crickets for my gecko.

“Lovely” pet store very convenient in the neighborhood but I honestly just hate how they keep a note on the door saying that they’ll be back at 2:30 and they don’t come back at all especially if there’s people outside waiting and then they don’t answer the phone it’s very inconvenient, especially if you need things for your pets
