I love this nonprofit. The Lady there is the sweetest person. Prayed for me I felt like we have been friends forever. She knows the people who come in by name. As far as the items. I found linen curtains! They're normally very expensive, but I got a set for 5$! Plus I found many clothes, nice size diversity. And there's changing rooms. Great name brands like old Navy, target's brand, torrid and others.
And lots of other house goods too.
Only complaint is the secular music. It's loud. I thought it was a Christian group. Instrumental would be nice. But still I like this store.
Helps families in need, definitely recommend.

This is one of my favorite thrift stores! The prices are fair, and there’s always a great selection of clothing, from vintage finds to everyday staples. Plus, they have dressing rooms, which is a big bonus. The employees are incredibly friendly and make the shopping experience even better. I also feel great donating here because it’s clear they focus on helping the local community, rather than just turning a profit. If you enjoy thrifting or are looking for a meaningful place to donate goods, I highly recommend giving this store a try!

I highly recommend you not shop here as their shelter is highly negligent. I am unable to do phone calls or go there, which is supposedly why they have an email for you to contact to try to get help, but then they rarely answer it. It has been over 2 weeks since their last reply despite two emails since. They are knowingly neglecting to try to meet a disabled person in the middle in terms of their intake system. I have heard shelters lie about being full if you don't "pass" their screening, and despite them not doing any actual intake on me, I'm starting to think this is what is going on. They do not need more money if they aren't going to treat people currently with them the way they are supposed to.

Update: included the shelter in a third email to the "advocate" who ghosted me for over two weeks and just happened to get a response in under an hour. She proceeded to lie saying I hadn't emailed since her last reply, and asked me for information I had already given. This just means they did NOT have me on a wait list system like they said they did or they would have had the information marked.

Update 2: person responded again, really showing they hadn't read/recorded anything I said by asking me if I was looking for support along with one of my abusers. They acted like two people couldn't have been abusive. Yikes.

Update 3: the person who gave me issues is actually the director of outreach services- so yeah avoid this place like the plague.

Decent little place. Very similar to a Goodwill type of place, but much better because of how it directly supports the local community.

I did think it was odd how drastically different the pricing on things were. Most items were $1 - $10. But there would randomly be photos mixed in for $100+. I’m not sure why that is.

Check out this book of Norwegian Folk Tales from Peace at Home. One employee thought the cat was playing with the sheep’s brain. Actually it’s wool, but the cat threatens to claw the sheep’s eyeballs. We all agreed it would make a great tattoo, and there are more pictures inside. I also got some nice pants, shirt and a sweater all for $19. 💯 of profits go to charity ❤️ and the employees are all super sweet.

This review is solely on the shelter. The place was thriving back when they first opened before the pandemic. They have the funds and resources to help out so many but they assume every person that comes in for help is one of the many drug addicts that they allow into the shelter time and time again. May last visit only lasted a few weeks thanks to myself! They give out vouchers for the thrift store and acts as though you are trying to rob them for simply asking for one. My children were car riders and I could not afford to get them to school everyday because of gasoline prices. They helped once on $25 in a truck/SUV and then I damn near had to beg or come up with great reason for them to help me again. The place has definitely had an infestation of roaches. Me and my children took some bed bugs with us to our new home from the shelter. They did not even clean our room before we moved in. There were spider webs and roach caucuses everywhere. They make you beg for simple hygiene products and even cleaning products. Half of the washing/dryers were not working and most people washed clothes everyday so I had to stay up late at night just to get a load done. Most of them women who were there recently were drinking alcohol and smoking in their rooms. The only help I was giving financially was $50 in gas and a few bottles of deodorant. Most of the time my son had to wear female deodorant just because they never wanted to help with anything. The night advocates are always disappearing and that is nothing compared to the day advocates that are always "in a meeting" or "on the phone with potential clients". I'm almost quite sure that the advocates advocate for themselves and their own households. They have shelves full of donations that would help out many families yet majority of the items are stored away and we were told they were limited on what we were able to have, even though it was donated to help us not their families inventory. They do not pay for educational programs or even housing. They might as well be as The Salvation Army Shelter is. The place was always dirty and not to mention the kitchen makes you want to eat cold sandwiches with a napkin. They air fryer has never been cleaned and you still see roaches climbing the walls and in the vents. They rooms were always hot and never cool for the summer. The clients there are completely just as disrespectful as the staff. They are not mindful of their neighbors and they claim to have house meetings every Saturday at 1pm but it never happened. I was there for about a month and never had a single meeting. Sadly the Women's Shelter in Rogers, Arkansas is just as stingy and unhelpful. They have people running these places who couldn't give a damn if you were beaten. You would swear that they took the money and resources from their own pocket by the way they make it so difficult to get help. I don't mind helping myself as much as I could, but why go to a place for help when they don't offer the support system from your abuser. I've even thought that going back to the pain was better than being at the shelter. Unless you have your own plans, there is no need to go to ANY shelter in Northwest Arkansas. You have a better chance at getting a tent and going under a bridge to live. At least begging money from traffic is more lucrative than what they offer us in these shelters. I would not recommend making this your last resort.

Every time I come in to PAH to shop, which is at least once a week, I find so many treasures!!! The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The place is clean and organized, making it peaceful to shop and easy to spend money. The prices are crazy good and makes it even more fun; trying new and unique things because it’s worth a shot! I love this shop and everything it offers. I love donating to the mission and enjoy supporting it. Stop by, you WONT regret it!

a fun place to browse books and clothes. It is closed Mondays. I love thrift shops and this one is nice.
