So it is the closest store for me and decent although very old and beat up. Small isles gives a cramped feel but you may see a celeb here and there. The employees are the best thing really. The fruit and veggies are always good but they never have nicer items like stilton cheese or the fancier items like gelsons does. Starbucks in store helps..

Was harassed trying to find the bathroom. The gentleman literally screamed at me demanding I use the employee back entrance to use the bathroom. I told
him thank you and expected him to leave me alone. He harassed and proceeded to scream for me to go through the back entrance and insisted that I go to the bathroom. I then told him, I’m okay, I’ll go somewhere else. He proceeded to aggressively coerce me all the way until I was leaving the Doors. I then politely with a strict tone stated, “please leave me alone”. Doug please do not do this to anyone ever again. not to mention I had paid $10 for 2 frozen empanadas from the “Deli” and they wouldn’t even heat them up when I noticed they felt cold. Not sure if this was just an off day. But very disappointing and rude atmosphere. Please avoid Doug at all costs. Very rude and hostile. Avoid. Very strange energy.

I was amazed how beautiful the flowers they sold were. This store also has a liquor department. All the workers are so friendly and helpful.

I stopped by to get a late lunch and decided to get a sandwich. I had a great conversation with staff while waiting for my sandwich and insights on Malibu weather changes. I will definitely visit again when I drive by in the future.

This review is solely for the deli dept. A Hispanic male employee who was working at 10:00am today 7/16/25 (I didn’t get his name). That gentleman gets a 1⭐️! When it was our turn to order sandwiches, he made us wait so he could get a cart of food items, then he proceeded to stock shelves behind us, while making us wait! He took his sweet time making out sandwiches. I ordered a Turkey, Bacon, Avocado sandwich. I asked him where the avocado was and asked for salt/pepper. He said “we don’t have any”. What?!! We were standing in a supermarket!!! It was an unbelievable experience - and not in a good way.

The cashier was very skeptical when i told her the self cashier charged me $1 extra, which i wasn't make it a big deal, then she thought I didn't pay for my meal and i bet you if i was white, she wouldn't said something like that! It was $1 i paid extra, and she kept me for 15 minutes, half of my break!! Unbelievable

I wish this Pavilion had fresh backed signature bread like others. Other than that it's a pretty good store. Every time I go there the workers are friendly and cheerful.
