Tucked away in Kernersville, this tiny pretzel shop serves up some seriously better pretzels than any of those big-name chains you’re thinking of right now. Yep, the ones that just popped into your head? They’ve got nothing on these guys.

We stumbled upon the place by chance, and a super energetic young guy practically swooped us inside. I don’t know what these two are drinking in the morning, but whatever it is, I need some! These guys are hands down two of the most high-energy, upbeat people I’ve met, and they were literally singing about their shop. Like, full-on belting out tunes.

Now, the pretzels. Perfectly crunchy on the outside, insanely soft on the inside—just the way they should be. They offer a variety of pretzels and dips that’ll make your taste buds dance. Definitely worth a visit.

Oh, and if you’re into chess, here’s a fun bonus: If they’re not too busy, these guys might just challenge you to a game or let you join in! A great spot for pretzels and a little friendly competition.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a wonderful local gem called Patriot Pretzels, and I can honestly say it was one of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and treated with genuine kindness. This is a family-owned business, and it’s clear that their strong Christian values shine through in the way they care for their customers and run their shop.

Everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly, polite, professional, and accommodating. The service was top-notch, and I truly felt valued the entire time I was there. On top of that, the pretzels were absolutely phenomenal—some of the best I’ve ever had from any pretzel shop, hands down. Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love.

The prices were completely reasonable, and the combination of an outstanding pretzel and a refreshing beverage made for a perfect treat. But even beyond the food, what stood out the most was the joy of getting to know the family behind the counter. It’s rare to leave a place feeling uplifted just by the people alone, but that’s exactly how I felt.

If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and visit Patriot Pretzels. You won’t just walk away with a delicious snack—you’ll leave feeling like part of the family.

Perfect spot to relax with an absolutely amazing pretzel! They are made to order and are so yummy! They have a variety of flavors and dipping options. They have a really great area to relax and it would be the perfect place for a first date or any to follow! There is even a great toy area for kiddos to play while parents relax on a very comfortable sofa! The people are very fast and friendly and the prices are great! If you want to meet another mom here to visit this would also be an excellent place!

This is one of my favorite places to stop when I'm in Kernersville. The pretzels are so delicious and the staff are super friendly and engaging. I live in South Jersey and this place runs circles around the Philly pretzel places near me.

A very unique place. Easy, laid back atmosphere with some really great staff. There's not alot of places that have pretzels in the area and surrounding areas. The minute you walk in you can smell the aroma of something special. They have quite a few different kinds with all sorts of flavors and toppings. And it's all HAND MADE right in front of you. They have some comfortable seating along with regular chairs, and a rocker chair. Play some chess,or checkers. Read a book, or let the kids play in the floor. And if there isn't a place inside, then the small plaza outside also has seating. The guys are friendly and have detailed knowledge of their products and are very welcoming. A really nice place to get a little something that's original and not like your average locations. So stop in and take in the wonderful smells while you wait for a fresh hand made, piping hot pretzel topped to your liking and make some new friends all at the same time. If your in town make sure you try it, you won't be disappointed.

Saw an advertisement for this business and decided to stop on my way to Charlotte. What a great surprise! Very appealing location, with hot gourmet pretzels made to order in a warm, friendly eclectic store. The atmosphere created by owner Virgil and son Noah proudly proclaims respect for God, Family and people. Stop in and have a great experience.

There are a lot of folks that start businesses for a lot of reasons. It’s clear after a few conversations with these guys that they practice what they preach and they love having a business that can be a comfort. Whatever that may mean to you.

My review of the actual food… the pretzels are made to order. They are not sitting around waiting to be reheated. It’s delicious. Is it an everyday thing? No, but it’s a fun treat and the kids love it. There is also seating outside if the weather is nice.

I’ve had several different styles over a period of months and the Jalapeño Deluxe was intense….very very tasty but HOT.

If you are downtown KVille and want to try something super unique and light your mouth on fire try that one!

Honestly you could almost make that pretzel a food challenge.

Patriot Pretzels has great pretzels. They are made fresh, so you aren't getting some frozen dough pretzel. I love the sea salt ones and the sugar Cinnamon ones. They are located on the alley at 120 N Main St.
