Such a neat little place in the southwest. I really hope this place gets plenty of traction and is around for a long time.
If you need Pokémon cards, this is your place. They also have an insane amount of games and other merchandise. And the staff is ridiculously friendly! I would literally come back for that alone.

This was a pretty average store experience for me. They don't really specialize in anything, so the stock is a bit limited when it comes to the things they do carry. The store closes at six thirty most nights, so be prepared to leave work and go straight over if you are interested in shopping there. They do have a play space, but it is not open for free play. You may only use it if you rent it out or there is a tournament. This is an issue for me. The store's prices are high, and normally that's acceptable to me because a store generally provides a brick and mortar location where I can play with the community. Having no public play space for gamers means I am just coming here to pay much higher prices for a product than what I'd pay at any number of large, reputable online businesses. Store rules (and the rules are a lengthy read) are posted in prominent spots and are mostly common sense, but they do state that you may not sell collectables in their store (which is reasonable) or even outside in the parking lot (which really isn't), but you may trade. I have been to a lot of gaming stores, and I respect the fact that they are businesses, and I have always respected store rules, but those rules usually ended at the store's front door. I have never seen rules that dictate my behavior outside the store. The store employees were nice and had a good knowledge base when speaking about the products they sell. The bathroom cleanliness was slightly better than about what you'd expect for a game store.

My understanding, based off of talking to others, is that this store was a lot more gamer friendly years ago and that there have been a number of recent changes. I don't know if the number of stars they have reflect the current business.

Don't go here for Pokemon cards. They are using the shortage of cards to price gouge. Vivid voltage packs are $6 out of a booster box, the sets that have 4 packs, and a bonus card are $45. I've been coming here for years. Never again.

To PGC, you should be ashamed price gouging your customers that have been shopping with you since you were on white lane.

::EDIT:: Then don't be part of the problem and purchase from people that are price gouging and then be forced to price at an unreasonable price. I would rather you weren't selling them at all then to be price gouging. That's why I turned around and walked out of the door the moment I saw the price. I could have bought every pack you had if I wanted to, but I refuse to be part of the problem. I'm sorry, but that is not an acceptable answer to me.

::EDIT 2:: You're struggling but you're also selling everything you're getting in?...

::Edit 3:: 2025 and they are now even worse than before. There is no shortage of cards. A brand new set that just released and is highly desirable (prismatic evolutions) is being sold at an insane markup. MSRP is $50. PGC here is selling them for $120+tax totalling around $130. This store has become a trap for people with collecting addictions. This is just not okay. Whoever is in charge of this place deserves to lose their business, and I hope they do.

Workers are cool and one dude did help me picking cards and decks but it is extremely overpriced, you can buy all the decks cheaper on amazon. i hate to say it but for buying decks and things of that sort, they are overprice a lot in that department. i got a pre con deck for 60 when i could’ve gotten it for 40 on amazon. cool workers but terrible prices
