Amazing art store! So glad they are still in business under new ownership!
I’ve been coming here since 2007:) They used to have 2 locations. I moved away, but when I come up to visit family I stop by to buy some art supplies here! I highly recommend this place for office, art supplies, and crafts.
I think the also do business with the local school districts to provide them paper and school supplies:) It’s definitely great to support a local business:) If you are a local in Santa Cruz, the greater Bay Area, or just a tourist this is the place to go:)

Love this place. Huge selection of art supplies, a bit pricey,but they have a great clearance section which is nice since stuff ain't cheap. Staff is very helpful and genuine. My favorite art store hands down.

I could spend all day in this store exploring. There is so much to discover and be inspired by. Great pen collection from gels to calligraphy to simple but beautiful ballpoints. Excellent selection of spray cans and tube paints. Extensive kids section for little creative minds. Super helpful non-invasive staff and enough things reasonably priced make this location a winning art supply store.

Grateful For Palace Arts. Usually get what i need. Sometimes, specific items are out of stock. Sadly supply chains are still bottled up from China where many basic supplies are made.

Definitely appreciate the kind staff. It was pouring with rain, i had just dealt with a dead battery. It was two minutes before closing time and they let me get the item i needed. I was so grateful.
